It does stick to metal roofs, yes. You need to clean the metal very well. If it's heavily weathered metal, it would probably be a good idea to put a coat of primer on so that the solar-flex has something to bond to, but steal roofs in decent or good condition don't really need to be primed. It does not make the house cooler in the winter, from my experience. If you put 3-4 coats on, it does help shed snow and rain, though, since there's nothing for the wet to stick to.Rebecca Gillanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01341836304924085727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498899580300269250.post-69872729555433309672015-06-25T12:36:49.658-05:002015-06-25T12:36:49.658-05:00Oops, I didn't finish with the squirrel though...Oops, I didn't finish with the squirrel thought... wonder if Solar-Flex would harmful to them?

Anyhoo, I so hope you're recovering from the exercise. I once had a special rubber-like mat put on a flat roof which did stop all the leaks... actually, I wish I had enough to do that...

Yeah, it could certainly work that way on a trailer... does it stick to metal well? I've used it several times. It even works on shingled roofs and seems to keep the shingles from blowing off in storms. The down side is that the roof needs to be free of loose dirt befor you put it on. I'm actually thinking about using it to repaint my Dad's trailer this summer. If it works to cut heat off roofs, it should work on metal siding, right?

Rebecca Gillanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01341836304924085727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498899580300269250.post-77010050993977958192015-06-25T09:10:13.825-05:002015-06-25T09:10:13.825-05:00Somebody has to clean out those bird cages ...Somebody has to clean out those bird cages ...Pat C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10531462055912377327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498899580300269250.post-56466014685986731262015-06-24T16:46:26.295-05:002015-06-24T16:46:26.295-05:00Oh btw, don't know if it will help, but I occa...Oh btw, don't know if it will help, but I occasionally use Willoprin, a while willow formula for pain relief. Plus, there are good pain-relief formulas with Turmeric, it's a natural inflammation reducer. Haven't used aspirin since I was a young kid. Or any over the counter pain medicine at all like Tylenol... and only once I tried a prescribed pain pill after having a tooth pulled when I was in my 20s... however, it felt so horrible, I would rather have the pain... and now I'm severely allergic to all that stuff.
