Abebi's Declaration

Jackson sat down next to Abebi. Even with her baby bump showing, he couldn't stop wanting her. Every time he saw a pregnant woman, Jackson inhaled and delighted in the taste of feminine pheromones rolling across his wolfish taste buds. Each woman smelled different. Humans had a distinct tang to them. Abebi and the other shifters of the pack tasted unique. Their odor together here in the room ramped his male horny id into overdrive. One of the women present kept giving him the once-over stare. She'd smiled at him and winked more than once. Jackson was sure if he stood up, his obvious reaction would be present for all to see. Hiding a hard-on wasn't easy when his cock felt like it was swollen and ready to orgasm from the first touch from any of the women present.

Abebi shifted in her seat. The group baby shower for the pregnant women of the pack as well as their extra partners made sense. Ten females besides herself were expecting babes. A couple of human newcomers to Remoor Beach were present. They shyly flirt and smiled as the men attending the function talked with them. At first, they hadn't known how to take the gathering until Remo had introduced the group and explained that flirting was harmless unless someone decided to take it further and that was up to all involved to work out. Jackson sitting next to her indicated where his preference laid for the moment. How was he taking things? Abebi turned catty-cornered to Jackson and put her hand on his.

Jackson's gaze met hers. Abebi nodded and wet her lips. Time had come to speak her mind. “Jackson, I said I'd think about sharing you. I wonder if you've given much thought to sharing me or what opening our relationship means to you.”

Jackson bobbed his head and wrapped his hand around hers. “I'm new to sharing a gal of my own. Back in the Peak, females in heat were open targets. Cross mating didn't occur much unless you frequented Dante's Interspecies Pleasure den. Here its accepted and encouraged. I prefer this community over the purists views.”

Abebi inhaled and glanced over her shoulder. The two hunks she'd been dreaming about for the last three weeks were standing close by wearing nothing but loosely knotted towel sarongs. The hot-tub was heating up. Remo loved hot-tubing as much as he loved making a woman climax. Abebi ducked her head as vivid images of the two and Jackson fondling her as she lounged nude in the hot tub flushed searing heat over her. The need to orgasms rocked her genitals and throbbed deep within her belly.

Jackson smiled as he watched Abebi flush. Her cheeks and neck faint red tinge told him she was shopping the males in the room as much as he was the women. Sex oozed from all present. No one seemed bothered by it. This party wasn't about getting it on or scoring as some of the human males referred to it. Rather the attendants were open to pursuit and acknowledged their sexual interest as positive. Jackson found he liked being able to think about other women sexually without having to worry about Abebi being upset. Flirting was fun and the idea of taking up with a few of those present intrigued him.

“Have you decided if you're willing to share me? Open our relationship up to include others?” Jackson scooted closer to Abebi. He straddled the bench he sat on and pulled her back to him. “Lean on me and tell me what is going on in that pretty head of yours.”

Abebi's suppressed laugh vibrated his chest. Jackson reached down, cupped her chin, and tilted her head gently back until he could see her face. Her mirth light up her eyes and her cheeks colored more. Abebi's grin was infectious. Jackson leaned down and brushed his lips over hers. As he pulled away, Abebi spoke.
“Sharing can be awkward. I've never been in the position of the one making the decision affecting more than myself. Most of the males I've pursued were single and wanted a dalliance for a while with no permanence. Now I'm part of a couple as well as a larger extended group. I'm unsure at times.”
Abebi reached up and patted his cheek as she sighed.

Jackson nodded. “I understand. I'm there too. Remo said each couple works out their own rules and agreements. I've given that some thought.”

“Me too. Sandy said she and Mick have one that requires disclosure often and early. No surprises if possible. Of course, acting without notice is frowned upon with them. Its a matter of declaration of intents.”

Jackson chuckled. “Darling, you're more important to me than any other female, critter or human. I signed on cuz I wanted to not, not because I was forced. I can look and lust. Taking another filly into my bed is gonna be a decision you will know about and are comfortable with. Okay?'

Abebi's smile grew and deepened as Jackson hugged her. “Let's try this ground rule for now. If we see someone who we are interested in and want to pursuit even for just a sexual interlude we tell each other first and talk it out. If more develops we keep on communicating, and no unprotected sex. No more unplanned pregnancies, right?”

Jackson lifted Abebi's hand from her stomach where it had laid protectively cupping their pups. He nibbled her fingers before kissing her palm and closing his hand around hers. “No unplanned anything darling. Keeping you and anyone else we're interested in safe is of utmost importance to me. Now as to what's got you blushing—tell me who and how I'm involved.”

A New Way of Seeing Things

“I don’t know if I said the right thing.”  Abebi toyed with her spoon.  Sandy sat across from her in the local coffee shop.  They sat near the front window.  Folks walked up and down the streets visiting the shops or looking at the Christmas displays each window showed.

Sandy set her fork down and thoughtfully chewed.  She picked up her coffee, drank, and spoke.  “Jeanne out did herself with this gingerbread cheesecake.  I’m glad you suggested coming here.”

Sandy laid her hands palms down on the table.  She leaned forward, continuing in a lower volume. “You had to answer Jackson.  Shit, the whole group was hanging on the two of you.  Why are you distressing?  You spoke from your heart, didn’t you?”

Sandy reached for her fork as Abebi responded.  “I wish it was that clear.”

Sandy drummed her fingers on the table.  “Did you tell them what they wanted to hear or what you thought Jackson wanted?”

Abebi swallowed the last of her decaffeinated coffee.  “If I stop to sort things out, probably a mixture of both with a stout splash of my own feelings added in too.”

Sandy’s nodded didn’t bode well.  Sandy talked when she felt strongly about the topic.  Abebi didn’t see this side often.  Why was she being quiet?

“I want to be sure Jackson gets to stay on if he wants even if we don’t work out.  I worry about him.”  Abebi toyed with her spoon, looking out the window in between glances at Sandy.

“Why worry about him?  He’s got to earn his merit just like the rest of us did.  Even you darlin’.”  Sandy forked another bite of cheesecake into her mouth.

Abebi wanted to squirm as two hot hunks passed the window.  Her next-door neighbor enjoyed a secondary relationship with them and spent a couple of afternoons a week basking in their touch and sexual play.  Pregnancy did nothing to still her want and desire for others.  Problem was she and Jackson hadn’t mated more than once in human form.  Their encounters were mostly as their wolfish counterparts.

“Yes, I earned my place in the pack.  Jackson is well on his way to gaining his too.  I wonder if all couples go through this.”  Abebi snagged the last bite off Sandy’s plate.

“Go through what?”  Sandy leaned back in her chair, eyeing the two hunks along with Abebi.
“Agreeing to others and then thinking did I do the right thing?”  Abebi shrugged as Sandy’s gaze met hers.

Sandy’s megawatt smile dried out Abebi’s throat.  Further words were impossible.  She pointed to Sandy and waved.

“Oh yeah now my turn, eh?”  Sandy’s smile grew.  “Hon, no one said it was easy.  Lupa knows Mick and I butted heads amongst my baas and his howls over a few of our side relationships.”

Abebi smiled back as best she could.  She sipped the water their server was kind enough to bring after a few frantic waves.  Sandy went on.

“We finally came to this agreement.  We talk about interests from the moment we know about them.  You can share some, a lot, or none at all.  Depends on where you are as a couple we found works for us.”  Sandy picked up the bill the server had laid next to her.  “Does that make sense?”

Abebi nodded.  She rubbed her lips together before voicing her views.  “Jackson is busy working overtime to get money for his rental deposits.  He’s renting the condo next to mine.  Seems he needs time to adjust to city life more.”

“Can’t take the animal or country out of him, I’m sure.”  Sandy winked as she laid the tip on the table.

“Yes, and sharing is going to take some getting used to.  He’s not wanting either of us to walk in on the other in the midst of things.”  Abebi fanned herself sure she was flushed as thoughts of Jackson naked and randy with her flashed through her mind.  What would he think if she whispered her current fantasy in his ear?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi Gang!
Well we have Abebi's answer finally.  Now I am fanning myself wondering what fantasy she has in mind for Jackson.  Dang, my muse loves to leave me hanging and wondering what is next.  Not to mention the two hunks Sandy and Abebi are eyeing.
Ah well, final edits for Hot for Torrey have come through and I'm hard at work finishing those up.  My muse decided to let me in on what Abebi decided.  Now we wait to see what her fantasy is.  Talk about another cliff hanger.
Mean while enjoy the warm weather if you can.  The holidays are here and so with it the end of the year.  Remember to take time for you and your spice as well as your loves.  I'm sharing a good book or two with them.
A New Path Dawns
Jackson looked at the footprints left in the sand hours later.  The golden light of dawn illuminated the path many had trod the night before.  Remo and his wife decided to renew their wedding vows as part of their twenty-fifth anniversary.  Sandy and her hubby followed suite and renewed theirs as well.  As did many of Remoor Beach’s older couples.
 As the line formed at the pier with each couple taking their turn walking down the makeshift aisle, Jackson found himself next to Abebi.  They kept moving forward until they found themselves at the head of the line.  Jackson tried to edge his way out of the next couple’s path. Instead, he found himself bordered by several of the pack’s males.  Two eyed him as though he’d done something wrong.  He couldn't see Abebi.  He heard her voice from time to time.  Her sharp no and I’ll decide when pulled at his attempts to stay calm.  The crowd of males surrounding him parted.  Remo stepped in and the crowd enclosed them both.
Remo cleared his throat.  “Son, no one is pushing you to jump the broom or stroll down the pier.  You’ve been here six months now.  Either you are courting our Miss Abebi or you are pissing in your own hat trying to convince yourself you want something you don’t.  Which is it?”
Jackson pushed his Stetson back and squinted.  Back in the Peak, no one questioned a couple about their relationship or intentions.  Of course back in the Peak, a lot happened below the radar.  Until Ziva found out and published her gossip column.  “If it’s my business, why you butting in Remo?”
“”Cuz son the good of the pack is at stake.  We got pups coming.  It’s time to declare your intentions.”  Remo stepped closer, his teeth bared.
“I’m not having a pack forced wedding,” Abebi cried out.  She pushed and shoved her way through the throng of women surrounding her.  “Jackson and I will decide what we want.  Not what the pack wants.”
Elder Muson held up his hand as he yelled out.  “Stop this nonsense.”  He tossed backed his head and howled.  A loud pitiful mournful howl echoed off the nearby buildings.  Many clapped their hands over their ears to keep from going deaf.
The swarm parted.  Elder Munson walked forward.  “Pack law is founded on choice.  Choice is key to our co-existence with our human counter parts.  It’s also one of the reasons we get along with each other as well as we do.  Sharing and caring makes sense.  If Jackson and Abebi haven’t made their choice or choices yet, not one of us has the right to decide for them.”
Elder Munson folded his arms across his chest and scanned the crowd.  “I’ll snap a piece out of anyone’s wolfish arse that tries to force these youngsters to do otherwise.”
Remo chuckled, walked over to Munson, and slapped him on the back.  “Rev, you give a good sermon with or without the pulpit.”
Munson nodded and slid his arm around Remo’s shoulders.  “Right, but are any of you listening?”
A chorus of yeses sounded.  Two women moved up next to Abebi.  “Our mutual spice want to be sure sharing is a free choice.  Jackson, are you willing to share Abebi?”
Jackson looked at the faces intently watching him.  Hell, was Abebi willing to share him?  It took two to make that decision.  They had barely talked since they agreed to court and discussed what they wanted as a foundation for that.  Jackson took Abebi’s hand and dropped to one knee.  “Abebi, will you share me?”
Abebi inhaled, cleared her throat, and spoke.  “Well, I. . .”
Happy Weekend Gang!
Wow talk about cliff hanger!  What is Abebi's response? Her mind is made up?  Blast my muse is refusing to let me in on what is coming next.  I'm sure it will be right for Abebi.
Meanwhile I'm busy finishing up edits on Hot for Torrey.   As soon as I have a release date and excerpts to share, I''ll post them.  Until then, share a good book or two with your spice and loves.  Keep warm and don't over spend on holiday gifts.
Seasons Change and So did. . .
Abebi trotted alongside Sandy.  Three more blocks and they’d reach the beach.  Jogging seemed like fun as the sun broke through the clouds.  The mountaintops capped with snow glistened as the clouds gave way to sunrise.
Sandy chaffed her hands and picked up her pace.  “Are you sure Doc Newstein okayed this?”  Sandy glanced sideways.  Abebi kept pace with her.
“Doc said exercise was fine.  He suggested working out to help with my pregnancy as well as keeping me active.  He wasn’t sure if he saw twins or triplets when he did the ultra sound.”  Abebi laughed as Sandy grabbed her side.  “Be careful.”
“I’m trying to.  You and your sense of humor!”  Sandy stopped outside Agua Caliente and leaned against the wall.  “Really twins?”
Abebi smiled.  “No, he tried to do an ultra sound.  Too soon to see much.  Definitely heard a heartbeat.”
Sandy shoved off the wall.  “Come on we got three more blocks to go.  How did Jackson take your talk?”
Abebi shrugged and trotted ahead of Sandy.  How did she explain Jackson’s nods and smiles at her last set of words?  Lupa Prime, even their exact definition defined her.   Hearth and home he got and offered his own experience from his youth.  The last three had left them both quiet and contemplative as they walked back to town.
“Well what did you tell him?”  Sandy caught up with Abebi and nudged her as they jogged in place waiting for the crosswalk signal to change.
“Why’s it important?”  Abebi put her fingers in her ears, stuck out her tongue, and took off down the sidewalk.
“Well. . .”  Sandy panted trying to catch her breath as she increased her pace coming up alongside Abebi.
“Well what?”  Abebi slowed as they came to a storefront window.  A nursery display took up half of the window.  The other half of the display had school age children depicted as they walked to school caring backpacks and wearing new clothes.  Abebi swallowed hard.  Would she face this alone?
Sandy laid her hand on Abebi’s shoulder.  “You’ve got friends.  If you’re ready to share, you will.”
Abebi walked to the bench two stores down and sat.  “I can tell you the words I chose but I’m still defining them.”
Sandy nodded, sitting next to her.  “That’s okay.  Mickey and I didn’t know what words we needed until we were married three years.  Even then, we changed it so many times that we gave up on exact definitions.  Now we write things down and compare notes about once a quarter.”
Abebi took a deep breath, opened her mouth to speak, and gasped.  “Oh my Lupa!”  She grasped Sandy’s hand, placed it on her stomach, and smiled.  “Did you feel that?
Sandy nodded vigorously.  “Wow that is a strong kick.”
Abebi wiped tears from her cheeks.  “Joy is beginning to take shape I think.  Maybe contentment is not far behind.  Commitment might be made up of these as well as love.”
Sandy chuckled.  “Love is elusive in defining it and quantifying.  I’m glad Mickey doesn’t mind sharing.  Come on, Remo’s afternoon delight with Mrs. Macintosh is scheduled for this afternoon.”
Abebi followed Sandy back up the street, wondering if Jackson understood what he was in for.
Happy weekend Gang!
So we learn Abebi's other words.  Commitment, joy, contentment, hearth and home.  I'm sure we'll learn more as  Abebi's ideas on sharing come out.  Is Jackson ready to embrace a pack wide commitment and marriage?  Trying explaining that one to a Southern raised shape shifter.
Well the cold weather is not far off.  I'm off to work on edits for my release coming out in January.  I'll share more when I've got more news.  Until then, share a good book with your loves and spice while staying warm.  I know I will.
Revelation and Change Continues
Abebi looked up, folded her hands, and placed them atop the picnic table.  “There’s two sets of words that come to mind when I think about my future.”  She took a deep breath before continuing.
Jackson’s gaze remained focused on her as she spoke.  “Hearth and home are the first ones.  I need a home where I am comfortable and accepted.  The hearth within it is where I find emotional nourishment as well as contentment.   I’ve got this in my life.  Can I share this?”
Jackson laid his hand on hers.  He leaned forward as if he was urging her to go on.
Abebi hesitated.  “I believe I can.  Am I ready to?  I don’t know.  I’ve got my pups to think about too.”
Jackson nodded, lifted his hand from hers.  “Before you go on, I want to speak.”
Abebi inhaled sharply.  Had the moment of truth come?  She hoped Jackson realized there was no going back on a signed blood oath.  He’d become part of Remoor Beach’s pack even if they decided to part ways.  She wondered if moving away was an option.
Jackson licked his lips, rubbed them together, and gathered his thoughts.  “I get that any decision we come to is important to you.  I also get you want a connection that requires more than other guys have given.”
Abebi shrugged and looked away.  Jackson rose and walked around the table.  He sat down next to her and slid his arm around her shoulders.  He nuzzled her neck before nipping her earlobe.  “I’m not one of them.  These pups are my responsibility too.  I helped make ‘em and now I got to take care of them.”
Abebi shuddered as he blew on her neck.  “It’s okay sweetie.  We’ve got a strange courtship happening.”
Abebi’s weak smile tugged at Jackson’s heart.  They were communicating.  Could they reach an agreement?  Move forward on them so their pups had united parents?
Abebi scooted a bit away from Jackson.  Her heart pounded each time he got close.  She wanted to hug him, offer to crawl into bed and not come out until both of them were limp with pleasure.  Problem was that got them to where they were now, her pregnant, him trying to do the right thing, and an unknown future staring them in the face.
“Strange is one word.  I prefer unique.  The pack is wondering if we’ll succeed.  I told Sandy mind her own business and leave me out of her spell casting”.  Abebi hugged her arms tighter to her.
“I speak kindly of witches.  But don’t take to their tinkering where they aren’t welcome.”  Jackson’s toothy-grin said what he didn’t directly say.  Sandy better watch out or she might be running to keep her goat tail out of harm’s way.
“The two other words that come to mind for me are. . .”  Abebi hesitated.  There was no concrete way to describe the feelings she felt around these last two words.  She knew she needed this to feel right before moving forward.
“Go on.”  Jackson nudged her.  He cupped her hand with his.  “The more I know the better I can decide what happens next.”
Abebi opened her mouth to speak.  A burst of icy cold wind swirled around them billowing out her sweater where it refused to fasten.  Her teeth started to chatter.
“Come on darlin’,” Jackson yelped as another burst whistled down his shirt and threatening to blow his hat off his head.  “I’m sure Sandy will be happy to chaperone us as we warm up with hot chocolate and her ham and cheese casserole.”
Abebi nodded, wondering what Jackson would say when she explained the last two words.  For now, she held them close knowing the more she was with him the more she hoped he could be a permanent part of her world and life.
Happy Weekend Gang!
Exciting news to share. I contracted my latest book which is tenatively scheduled to release in January 2013. I'll share more when I've got more concrete news.
Sorry for the late post.  Abebi had a tough time explaining things to me so I could get them down.  She has two more words to tell Jackson.  She isn't letting on what they are.  Could they be joy and happiness, love and commitment, or what?  Are these words that come easy when the heart is involved?  I don't know.
We here at the spice homestead weathered Sandy's punch well.  Our prayers and well wishes are with those that need help and reassurance as they get back on their feet post Sandy.  Be sure to donate and help out as you can.  We all can pitch in and help out our fellow citizens.  Remember if you are helped, pay it forward.   It will come back to you when you need it.
Meanwhile, remember to hug your loves and spice as you share a good book or two with them.
