They Have A Union for That?
Penelope sat in the overstuffed chair built for two, stroking her mink who had recently, it seemed, acquired a lovely leather collar in a shade of blue found on only one man in town. The collar was an exact match to the gem hanging from a choker circling the Mistress’ neck. Both mink and Madam looked happier than he’d seen them in weeks. For that, Dom was happy.
“So, Master Dominic, you called a meeting? Is there some sort of problem we need to discuss and if so, where is everyone?”
Dom looked to the young lion he’d been training for some time, then down to the muzzled wolf at his feet. The she stayed close to Leo’s legs and uttered not one whine. He could see that Leo had taken his advice and purchased the gentle muzzle found at The Talbot’s Peak Pet Store to help curtail his sub’s wild tongue. The silencing was more a mental punishment than a physical one. “Not a problem, per se, Leo, more an interesting development. The others were invited, but had engagements they could not cancel. They were all fine with us discussing this and letting them know our verdict.”
“Not a problem, per se?” Mistress P repeated, sex oozing with every syllable. “I love the sound of that.”
“I figured you would, Pen.” Dominic joked. “Here’s the quick…”
“…And dirty?” The colorful bird quickly questioned.
“Yes, Pen, and dirty. We have a new Domme in town and she’s doing some very interesting things.”
“Ah, Edina.” Penelope grinned, changing her position in the chair to better cuddle her sub. “She is doing some new and unusual things in that basement room of hers. Dante was impressed by the numbers of shifters she has coming and going…pun kind of intended.”
Dom covered his chuckle with a cough and the wolf at Leo’s feet, chuffed. Penelope, always the smart-aleck just sat and smiled. “Yes, she’s been busy. The question is, are we okay with her taking money for what she’s doing?”
“What exactly she’s doing is really the question then?” Leo spoke to no one in particular.
“Has anyone of us been by to see what she’s doing?” Mistress P asked. “From what I understood her clientele has all been overweight. Is she preying on them? Offering something to “help” them lose weight, but really does nothing but lighten their wallets?”
“Good question, Mistress,” Leo said, his hand now stroking the wolf’s head at his feet. “I’ve not heard any talk about “miracle” cures to anything over at my practice, but I’ll keep my ears open for gossip.”
“Sounds good, Leo. Thanks.” Dom looked back to Penelope, knowing she was planning something. “Pen?”
“I think we need to invite her to one of our “union” meetings. Let her explain what she’s doing here and then decide if she can “join.”
Dom chuckled, as did Leo. “Would this just be an excuse to call in the toy panderers?”
“Any time is a good time for sex toys, Dom. This you know. And yes, I do enjoy shopping for the good deals the panderers like to offer, but we can use a toy show to test her, as well. If she wants to Domme in Talbot’s Peak, she needs to be tested for what kind of Dom she is. The best way…put her through her sub paces. If she passes, she can show us her Domme chops. Plus, if we invite the right panderers, there will already be a cross or bench at the ready.”
“Agreed.” Dom nodded.
“Sounds good.” Leo affirmed.
“Wonderful,” Penelope purred. “I’ll start making some calls.”
~~~
I wonder how Edina will like her welcome and who will administer her "test?" Could there be a Dom in her future or do you see her with a switch? So many questions...
Keep warm!
The Circus Cometh...
Ziva laid tongue out and panting, enjoying Nick’s hands digging into her winter coat and scratching her skin. She’d spent long ass hours in human form hovered over the throne wondering how one little cubblet could cause her so much trouble.
By day three, Nick overrode her desires to keep family at bay and called them…all of them to seek some answers. That’s how she ended up in her wolf body with nine sets of adult eyes and two sets of cub eyes watching her every move.
“Dad, is she gonna do it again soon?” “Yeah, is she?” Loki and Thor demanded in less than whispered voices. “She looks funny puking like a girl…” “I wonder what it looks like as a wolf.”
“Boys…enough. Go on outside, shift and play in the snow.”
Lupa bless Marissa. She really was feeling a little pukey and could do without the boys rooting her on.
“Ah, we wanna see it.” “Look, she’s getting drooly.”
“BOYS!” Mooney barked, but it was Nick’s alpha growled that brought not only theirs, but several other eyes in the room, to the floor.
“Yes, Sirs.” “Yes, Sirs.”
Both cubs hightailed it out of the room with Marissa yelling after them…”Wear the booties over your paws.”
“Awww…” “Mom…”
Ziva whined, watching Nick’s sister-in-law perform her mother duties so perfectly. How could she ever measure up to such standards?
“Out of the way Vernon, Mooney.” Mrs. Elly, the only better mother than Marissa set a bowl in front of her and knelt down to rub her ears. “This ought to settle your stomach for a bit dear. Even the vet approved it so no worries.”
Ziva started to smell the concoction only to have Nick pull the bowl up to his own face.
“What is it?” His loud sniffs settled her nerves a bit, trusting he wouldn’t let her eat anything funny–not that she worried about Elly trying to poison her. It was his protectiveness that helped settle her nerves.
“NICK!”
“Vernon, hush, Nick is worried about the mother of his young. I’m glad he’s concerned. My dear, it is just an oat mix moistened with a touch of yogurt and a drop of peppermint. My mother made it for me and I intend to make it for all the pregnant women in my family. There’s even protein in the mix through the yogurt…good for a wolf mama and her babe.”
Tears sprung to Ziva’s eyes as Nick slid the bowl back in front of her. Elly was a treasure, a woman she secretly wished the women in her family would emulate.
“Ugh-o,” her mother took that moment to share her unwanted thoughts on Elly’s generocity. “Oat mash sounds like herbie food to me. All you need sweetheart is to figure out which grape year the little one like’s best. You were a 64’ red and your sister there, well, she preferred for me to eat the worm…”
Oh Lupa… Fighting her way to her feet, she flew over the bowl and around her horrified sister and a laughing Reetha to hit the back door. She was mortified to be using their swinging dog door, but even more so at what her mother just admitted.
“ZIVA! Baby, come back.”
At the top of the hill she knew she couldn’t wait any longer and brased herself for the inevitable. Her claws curled into the snow as her stomach moved to her throat.
“She’s puking, she’s puking!” “Totally cool!” “You should have seen the time she ate that sick rabbit, now there was some puke.”
Ziva fell to her side and continued to gag, leave it to Reetha to share that with Loki and Thor now. Snow blew up around her and a wild growling and barks filled the air. Nick, in wolf form, stood above her warning each person away from his fallen mate. She should get back up to take some of the pressure off him, but she was just too tired.
###
“Everyone move.” Leo pushed his way through the crowd around the expectant Ziva and the irate Nick. NOW!” What a circus this turned out to be.
He knew both families were a bit on the crazy side, but he’d not realized how dysfunctional his Cami’s female role models were and poor Ziva, having to monitor and probably raise all three.
Thankfully, she had Nick.
“Vernon, please take Ziva’s aunt and mother home. Mooney, could you take your sister and the boys elsewhere. Elly and Marissa, please stay to help me with Ziva. Cami, please go grab my bag from the car, love.”
Leo used his Dom voice to make sure his orders were followed before turning to Nick and the patient.
“Now Nick, I think you should let me take a look at Ziva. I just want to make sure she’s okay.” Nick’s hackled rose along with his growl.
This was going to be harder than he thought…
Have a wonderful weekend!
The Perfect Job...
Cami watched the workers exit the clinic one at a time, each leaving in a different mode of transport. Seven o’clock on the dot per her watch and now it was time for her to enter. What service would Leo require of her in order to obtain the cloak? Surely it would be sexual if the size of his stones were any indication.
“Hell, how could I have missed them with that quick peek under his kilt?”
“Missed what?”
“Sheee…gah dang!” Cami whipped around not expecting a response to her question and especially from the man whose stones were in question.
“Interesting way of not swearing, Cami Ann…” The twinkle in his made her wonder if he’d actually prefer to hear a few choice words pass her lips. “…tea?”
Steam rose from the cardboard cup he held out to her. Her heart thunked against her ribs with both gratitude and fear. Sure it was nice of him to get her a drink, even one she disliked, but what was he buttering her up for?
“N-no thank you.”
“It’s good for you. Antioxidants and all that, plus I had Marissa add a touch of dried cranberry and raspberry to the Cami-omile while brewing for a sweeter taste. Try it for me, lass.”
“Aah, I don’t think that’s how it’s pronounced.” She twittered, like an embarrassed school girl rather than a grown woman and wolf to boot.
“Well, I prefer to think of it as your drink, so I’ll keep saying it just the way I like. Now taste.”
Cami blushed clear to her toes. How could she not after all the work he put into getting it for her and the outrageous compliment. At first she wasn’t sure, but several sips later she considered herself almost a fan.
“It’s not bad.”
“Good, tomorrow I’ll add a Raspberry white chocolate scone to the order just to watch your taste buds explode with pleasure.”
Cami crossed the street at his urging wondering what else would be exploding today and could she bear for him to watch…
~~
The aroused panic on Cami’s face was worth price he’d paid to be on hand to see it. For a hundred bucks and promise of discounted flea dips to Marissa’s family, she’d kept her eye out for his prey. The cups of tea were a bonus he used shamelessly.
“Shall we?” He prompted her movement forward with a hand on her back. No way would he let her chicken out now that he had her so close.
“I-I don’t…”
“Trust me, Cami Ann, I have the perfect job all lined up for you just through those doors. You won’t want to miss it.”
Nor would he want to miss her showering the batch of motherless wolf cubs, abandoned on the steps of the Talbot’s Peak Pet Shop, with her endearing capacity to love.
“Really? What will this perfect job entail?”
Leo knew without the right ice breaker today would be lost when she ran for the hills, but still he couldn’t stop himself from teasing her just a little. “Oh, kneeling for sure. Lots of stroking and gentle kisses on the head is a must.”
Have a love filled weekend!
Black Friday Deals...
Cami sipped from the cup in one hand, inwardly praising the Java Huts private stash of tea leaves and circled today’s purchase with the other. She couldn’t believe yesterday was Thanksgiving and today, Black Friday.
“Ahhhh, thank Lupa,” Ziva moaned, gulping down the coffee waiting for her before even getting her ass in the chair. “Now why the hell do you have me here so early, Cami?”
“Please, I know you’ve been up for at least an hour…it is Black Friday.”
“Of course I have…gifts to get, deals to find and this year we have the thrill of bartering here in The Peak, along with the new Talbies.”
Cami chuckled at the whipped cream mustache her sister sported and handed her a napkin. “That’s just why I asked you here, Ziva.” She adjusted the paper so the boldly circled item could be seen on the other side of the table. “Who has that?” She asked, pointing out the coveted gift.
“I couldn’t tell ya.”
“Come on, Z. You owe me.”
“How do you figure that?”
“Yesterday?” Cami crossed her arms and stared down her sister. “I let you catch the turkey.”
“The scat you did. I caught that fair and square…you were too slow and clumsy.”
“Nope, I was waiting for you and Nick to come around the corner and I intentionally took him out. You’re welcome. Now pay up…who has that?”
“Bullscat…”
Cami watched Ziva run yesterday’s turkey hunt over in her head to make sure she was the rightful winner.
She also recognized the exact moment her sister remembered seeing Cami ahead of her.
“…Damn. Next year I’m kicking your mangy, kennel cough ass.”
The flush of red spread over her face just as it did whenever anyone in her circle brought up her foolish illness. “That has gone away, thank you…now give me the information I want.”
“I really can’t, Cami. All those items came in anonymously via the gazettes website. They’ll all be at the high school gym waiting to be bartered for or purchased.”
“Bugger…”
“Why do you want that item anyway?” Her sister leaned in close, sure to smell the hint of unease Cami knew she was putting off.
“No specific reason just that it would be cool.” Cami gathered up her paper and purse, preparing to head over to the school. She didn’t want Ziva to inspect her too closely or she’d be forced to spill her guts on her real needs.
“Oh no you don’t…”
“Leave it alone, Z.”
“No way…there’s a reason you want that,” Ziva growled, pointing at the object of Camis’ fascination. “And I want to know what it is.”
“It’s nothing…I mean, who wouldn’t want one.” Cami spun on her heel and raced to the door. Ziva stayed in her seat drinking coffee with a smirk on her face. Hopefully, she’d find the holder of her needs before her sister could catch up. She didn’t need any more scat from the alpha bitch of their family.
###
Leo had been so sure his product would be quite the sought after piece that he’d be beating back the throng with his single-tail whip. Little did he know? There was not a single person at or around his booth. Neither barter nor Talby crossed his palm.
Who wouldn’t want an invisible cloak?
Apparently, most, if not all, of the Talbot’s Peak residents if the crickets echo was any indication. At least he’d brought along his canine anatomy book to study up on all of the sensitive spots on a wolf. Once he and Cami got down to playing, he would be ready to provide the exquisite pleasure/pain she required.
“Ohmygawd.” The breathless pant tingled down his spine and dug into the lower vertebrae, so close to his balls. “You haven’t sold it yet, have you…the, the cloak, do you still have it?”
Why would his love, his sweet submissive feel she needed to be invisible? And what exactly would she barter away to get it?
“You’re in luck, Cami Ann,” he said, dropping the book into his lap and looking into her shocked face. “But what will you trade me for it?”
###
Wouldn’t you freaking know it. The person she needed to stay away from was the owner of the tool she wanted to use to be successful.
“I-I have…” Cami glanced down at herself, cataloging her jewelry and the cash/Talbies in her purse. “I have money, Talbies.”
Leo stopped her before she could reach inside her clutch. “I have no need of currency, old or new.”
“Ah, okay, how about jewelry—gold, for your wife?”
“Not married, Cami Ann.”
“Coffee? Every morning for say a year?”
“No, I was thinking more along the lines of your time. Say two hours a day for a month?”
“E-everyday?”
“Yep, and on Sunday’s I’ll give you a treat. What do you say, do we have a deal?”
She should really ask for clarification, but she was too chicken. She could agree, take the cloak and hide from him for… what, ever? No that was a poor way to conduct business. She was better than that. She would agree to his terms and see what he had in store for her tomorrow. If she couldn’t do whatever it was, she would return the cloak and leave. “Yes, deal.”
“Good. Meet me at the clinic tomorrow afternoon…after closing. The cloak will be waiting for you there… and so will I.”
May you all find a very special Black Friday Deal of your very own!
Good Things Come To Those Who Wait...
So an interesting thing happened to me as I worked on this week's blog...
My character jumped in and changed everything up. Who knew Leo and Cami went to school together. Who knew he was a geek turned alpha and who really knew he was a Dom!
A lot of my Talbot's Peak family is leaning heavily into the BDSM lifestyle...a total, but welcome surprise.
As an author, I would love to have the plotting ability down cold, however, the voices in my head...ie participants in my writing journey, don't want to let me. Too boring, they say...not enough freedom, they whine.
I gotta tell ya, if this crew is allowed anymore freedom, I just might find myself locked away! Pads on the very white walls. Just make sure I have a computer at my disposal, or a marker...I can make it work. ~wink~
~~~
It took everything Leo had to hold back the chuckle bubbling up inside him. Cami Ann Wilk, the quietly sexy, shyly searching wolf who’d overlooked his geeky nature all through school, here in the office with Kennel cough. Fate was being incredibly kind to him today.
“Well, what do we have here? I see you’re a shapeshifter, canine breed wolf, with a nasty sounding cough. How about we get you on the table and have a listen to those lungs.” He squat; readjusting the kilt as he went, and scooped up the lovely wolf. “Such soft fur, lots of protein in your diet?”
A sort of cough/snort erupted from her muzzle and drooly snot ran down her lips. She looked away and whined. The sound was pure embarrassment. In her human form a blush would spread across her pale skin—a visual reminder of how close to the surface her blood flowed and the pleasure she’d find his brand of love. Over the years he’d spent an inordinate amount of time watching her, hoping she would see him back.
He ran his hands over her head and down her back, both to sooth and steady the beautiful animal before reaching for his stethoscope. “Okay, sweetheart, deep breath in…and out. Once more…”
The nice thing about working with shifters was that they actually listened to what you told them while in their alternate form. Well, some did. There was this smarty pants squirrel who didn’t listen to anyone and a snake that was forever trying to peek under his kilt, but both were so amusing he didn’t mind playing along.
“Sounds to me like kennel cough. Can I assume you were out on Jack and Jill’s hill last week at the monthly free-for-all?” Once again she issued the cough/snort and lowered her eyes.
Yeah, she was there wandering—though not participating. Hers had been a familiar expression, he’d seen it all through school; she wanted to join the group she was just too submissive to make the attempt.
“Cami Ann,” He said, tipping her head up so he could look into her crystalline blue eyes. His use of her name shocked her into skittering and nearly falling from the exam table. “Careful now. Go ahead, shift and get dressed. You and I have much to discuss.”
Leo walked to the door, looked back and smiled. His years away had taught him more than veterinary science; he’d perfected his technique under many of the best Doms across the country—though none better then Talbot Peak’s very own dominating duo, Mistress Penelope and Master Dom. All in preparation for his return to her…his perfect submissive.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Stay warm and dry, or cool and wet...whatever trips your trigger. :D
