Ms. Etiquette Learns Restraint

“On your knees.” Victoria stumbled and dropped to her knees, skinning both. Who the hell had shoved her? Where was she? Damn it was cold. So fucking cold.

Giggles threatened to erupt and pour out her mouth. Ms. Etiquette cussing like a drunken lout and laughing about it. Oh, who the hell cared. There she’d done it again.

“Tory, open your eyes. Come on love. Wake up.” Who dared call her that? No one since her ex Anthony Wolfson had dubbed her that during their twenty four hour sex session, even remotely came close to pinning a nickname on her. Damn him too. He’d sold the paper to Nick McMahon and left town with the proceeds, leaving her living in a style she’d become unaccustomed to. Not even a kiss my wolfish ass or a hint of where he’d gone until last night. God, what a night. Flashes of the prior evening raced through her mind.

“Come on Victoria. I’m famished.” Danny the mail boy whined. So much for his stud abilities in bed or even an interest in women. He’d been chasing men like the mink in heat he was from the moment they’d arrived. Three nights in a row the pain in the ass varmint had come in at 3AM drunk and smelling like a male whorehouse….cheap cologne and sex, so much sex he reeked of it even after he tried to shower with her help. No way in hell was she playing nursemaid to him again. She’d left her manners by the wayside the second night in.

“Danny, why here?” Victoria shut the car door and glanced at the neon sign hanging about the entrance. Antonio’s Bar and Steakhouse…right more like a local pick up joint. Two males stopped out front and embraced, sharing a lingering kiss before entering. Great another gay club, geared toward Danny and his kind. Not that she minded, but all those hunks and lush bodies of maleness and not one of them gave her more than a passing look. After while a girl began to wonder is she’d lost it or if she could tell a straight male from the rest of the crowd even if he walked into the place. That was until he walked up.

No it couldn’t be. Not after all the time they’d spent arguing and swearing, it’d be a cold day---well it was cold! Bitterly cold and getting colder each minute she stood outside as the wind whipped around her. Hell must have frozen over, ‘cuz in front of her stood her ex looking fine and as studly as ever. Shit, now the truth came out! Anthony had left her for another man. The bastard!

Balling up her fist, she fought the urge to walk over and slug him in the gut. Not that it would do her much good. He stood six foot and his muscular build protected him. His animal half ever vigilant kept most predators at bay. Though a few tempted fate and tried to take him out. He was an Alpha and took no qualms looking and living the role. Still he couldn’t tell her he’d preferred men. And what about all that hot sweaty sex they’d had night after night when they’d first gotten together. Oh, he had a hell of a lot of explaining to do. Victoria spun and stalked toward him.

Out of the shadows, two masked figures rushed by her, one grabbed her shoulder bag and pulled. She held on. No one got her two hundred dollar Louis Vuitton purse. She wasn’t letting her wallet and cell phone get into some petty criminals’ hands. She hesitated, letting her momentum propel the perpetrator forward. High heels and ice don’t mix.

Scrambling for her footing, another set of hands grasped her free arm shoving her along, ordering her on her knees. “On your knees bitch.”

Strong arms steadied her and righted her forward descent. “Who you calling bitch twerp?”

She knew that voice and those arms anywhere. Damn Anthony was saving her again. Not that she could do much in protest. Ice and heels made skating seem simple. Pivoting against her savior and her would be assaulter; Victoria tried separating herself from the two. No such luck. Her feet slipped out from under her. Landing on her back and continuing downward, her head hit the parking lot asphalt. Anthony’s bemused face peered down at her holding Danny by the scruff of his neck in one hand and one of the robbers in the other. She blinked and everything went black.

“Come on Tory. Please open your eyes sweetheart.” Anthony’s purr and warm breath tickled her neck sending ripples of desire out across her and slamming down into her pussy. God how had she ended up here? Naked as the day her mother whelped her and with him.

Victoria tried to move an arm and leg. Nothing. She couldn’t move. What now? Her eyes flew open. Anthony’s grin greeted her. Blinking, she focused on the item dangling from his hand. Oh holy shit. A flogger. And in his other hand….two nipples clamps and a clothes pin. Her nipples harden and wetness trickled down her ass cheek. She inhaled. The scent of sex raced up her nose. Her clit throbbed and would more with the clothespin on it. What did Anthony have in mind?

Another week done and the chill of winter is in the air. Hope the flash piece added some warmth to the day or evening for you. Bank the fire until you can share with someone or someones letting your imagination run wild.

Be sure to take time to enjoy a few good orgasms and a book or two over the weekend!

Moonrise Over Miami

Nardella stepped off the plane, sniffing the air. Wet. . .the air smelled so wet she swore she’d never feel dry again. Nothing smelled like the dry arid sands of her homeland. Shielding her eyes, she squinted and tried to focus on the growing crowd inside the terminal. He would be there. Amongst the humans waiting to gawk at them and shove their camera flashes in her, and the others on the plane, face demanding a word or nuance from them. Noises behind her interrupted her thoughts.

“Come on move your arse.” A deep English accented voice rumbled near her. She didn’t need to turn to know who fussed.

“I’ll move Anthony, when I am ready. Not before.” Nardella hunched her shoulders acting as though she adjusted the straps of her loaded backpack. “This isn’t going to be easy for any of us.”

Anthony’s snort and chuckle usually didn’t bother her. She’d gotten use to his off kilter sense of humor and odd ways. Today it rake her where she least needed it, deep in the pit of her queasy stomach. Why was she so bloody nervous? So jittery and ready to snap out at those she traveled with. It made no sense.

“Look Nardella, if he is here, you can’t escape the fact that he’s working with us. Soon or later you’re gonna have to face him.” Anthony touched her arm.

Nardella turned slightly toward Anthony. “I know that Anthony. I just wish. . .”

Cheers erupted from the throng pouring out the open terminal doors. Two burly armed guards moved through the crowd stopping at the edge of the staircase leading up to the plane. Several moments passed as they stood still, their hands at their sides as though they expected some response.

She wasn’t acknowledging them. If anyone else wanted to, they could go for it. She’d rather push her way through them or go around before she’d greet him or any of his staff. Nardella inhaled and counted. On five, the guards moved apart.

“What’s the hold up?” A feminine voice sounded behind Anthony. “Are we here or is this another diplomatic stop for some cockamamie reason?”

Nardella couldn’t help but smile. Patrice didn’t hide her feelings. She spoke her mind. “Hold on my friend,” Nardella called over her shoulder. “It seems we’re getting some kind of official welcome.”

“Bloody hell,” Anthony cursed. “It’s bad enough I’ve got to wear this blue glop they’ve perfected to keep sun off me. Now they want to officially welcome us. Keeerist, I itch and my eyes are burning. How much more do we have to take?”

Nardella reached back squeezing Anthony’s hand. Her own trepidation calmed some as Anthony squeezed back. Patrice’s giggles and cough reminded Nardella of the trio’s connectedness. Each of them knew the other’s thoughts and shared memories. Their progenitor’s explanation echoed through Nardella’s subconscious. United you are stronger than individually. Each of your unique special traits allows you to work alone and survive. Together your synergy is greater than the sum of the whole. None can break you as long as your shared link and telepathy remains intact.

A human male in a suit and tie began ascending the stairs. He paused midway as though he waited for a signal or some sign. Nardella glanced over his shoulder back toward the tarmac and the growing multitude. Had he sent another to greet them? Just like she remembered him. Too blasted busy to be bothered with anything other than his . . .

“Ma’am,” the suited man called out coming up two more steps. “Mr. Liken will be here…”

“Percy, I’m here.” A tall olive toned male moved up to the steps. “Come work this damn group of qwakers back into the terminal and allow me to handle my business.”

The suited male worked his way back down the stairs. He faced the Latin male standing between the guards. Percy nodded and mouthed something before pointing to her. Nardella bit her lip and reached out to Anthony and Patrice telepathically. He had to show up. Make sure his presence and our arrival connected us with him. Always looking out for his interests. Why can’t Mateo do things quietly? Blast his were shifting soul!

Anthony’s snicker and Patrice’s soft uh-huh made Nardella grin. The last time they’d worked with Mateo, he’d taken control and assumed leadership. He never asked or questioned, he just did. Did what he thought was best and decided. Very little teamwork if anyone asked her opinion. Though Nardella knew Mateo cared very little what the outsiders, as he referred to humans, thought or made of his actions, she wondered if his pard let him lead in the same autocratic way. She doubted it.

“Go on gal. He’s waiting. At least, he’s being respectful,” Anthony’s flat tone and emphasis on respectful tickled Nardella.

“Do I have to?” Nardella drew out have to and added a childish tone to her voice. “Gee Mister Anthony, I do believe he bites.”

Patrice’s laughter flowed around Anthony. “Look I don’t care if he does as long as he doesn’t leave marks. I gotta pee! So much damn moisture in the air and my kidneys are screaming.”

“Sorry my love. I forget sometimes. Being a douser isn’t always easy.” Anthony moved sideways, motioning Patrice forward. “Go in front of me. In fact, you go first and tell Mateo to move or you’ll piss on em.”

“Oh great! That will really make the headlines!” Nardella choked back her laughter. “Mateo Liken, Alpha of the Golden Jaguar clan, pissed on by arriving dignitaries. Go for it Patrice.”

“Like hell I will. I’m not waiting for you two.” Patrice nudged Nardella aside and bounded down the stairs. As she reached the tarmac, she motioned Mateo to her. His wide grin and nod indicated he understood Patrice’s foot stomping and hand signals. Percy escorted her through the crowd accompanied by one of the guards.

“Go on, I’m behind you.” Anthony’s slight shove unnerved Nardella. “We can’t leave Patrice to fend the crowds by herself.”

Nardella took a deep breath and exhaled. Taking the stairs slowly, she flashed images of her home and its earth tones through her mind. She willed her calm to well up and engulf her allowing no one to know deep inside the uneasiness she felt the closer she got to Mateo, her ex-lover.

I hope you enjoyed the flash piece and let your imagination take on the next steps in the story. I know my muse will be cooking up some hot things for Nardella and Mateo, not to mention Anthony and Patrice as well. Enjoy a good book or two this weekend. Remember to snuggle up with your loved ones and let your imagination take flight.

Smiles and a few knowing winks,

Happy Saturday!!

I've had a week where I'm glad it' s Saturday. Still a lot to do and much to try to find time to fit in. Love's Frenzy next section is not ready yet. Thought I'd share a short story I start on a whim last night. Enjoy Mischief.

_____________________________________________________________________

Mischief

Once upon a time never comes. At least in my world it doesn’t. Who am I? Just a crazy half-demon named Mandy. Well crazy is not correct. I act that way to keep most folks at a distance.

Midtown sits in between heaven and hell. I got the job of being gatekeeper for the folks not accepted in either place. Most days and nights things are quiet and eventful. You thought I was going to say uneventful. Come on, you’ve got to be kidding. With bad asses and demi-angels running around, even mixing it up from time to time, how can you expect nothing to happen?

Sid, my boss, keeps tallies on who causes shit the most and runs a side business betting on who will win the next round. He pokes fun at Marc my partner in peacekeeping. Marc keeps looking at me with lovie dovie eyes and the weirdest grin. I give ‘em a wide berth when we’re in the office together. I got enough problems to deal with. I don’t need a virginal angel with teenage sexual angst drooling over me when our shifts over lap.

I began keeping this journal about three months ago when Gregor showed up unannounced. That man can make my hottest fantasies boil over and steam. I never said I disliked sex. I don’t like virgins who can’t tell their prick from a stiff pole. Marc swears he does if I’d just give him a chance. Well, hell ain’t froze yet.

Back to Gregor. He is taller than the six-foot suspect tape we’ve got mounted on the wall. Honey, he could mount me anytime and whoosh---damn I digressed again. Excuse me while I add some ice to my drink and turn up the fan below my desk another notch.

Now where was I? Oh yes, Gregor is a tall lanky damn fine demonic angel. Seems his parents like mine took a running hit at a one night stand and the end results were us. No, I’m not angelic by any fashion. Though I’m told horns still out when I’m horny. Problem is I’m forbidden to fraternize—Sid loves using those collegiate words—with our associates or the people I’m keeping locked up. That’s how Sid describes my job. Me, I make sure none of them get out and keep those out that want to help break in or out. Not an easy job by any means.

Gregor showed up one night late in our spring. Lighting and thunder crossed the sky and rain soaked the few patches of open land we’ve got left. Extreme heat and cold leave us with a only three to four weeks of calm. Dressed in dark jeans that hugged his firm tight ass and a midnight blue t-shirt, he almost blended in with the twilight sky. As he ducked to enter, I noticed two silver white streaks down the back of his shirt. His deep voice and lavender eyes drew my gaze and sent my already dry panties into sopping wet.

I practically creamed myself as he laid his large well-manicured hands on the counter separating us. I got a thing for tall men. Ones that command your attention without saying anything get me the most.

His good evening had me biting my lip to keep from stuttering like a innocent school girl which I haven’t been for eons. Leave it to Marc to waltz his screwball self into me and push me across the counter as though I’m threw myself at Gregor. Not that I hadn’t thought about it.

“Excuse me.” I pushed myself off the counter, reached behind me and pinched Marc’s arm. Sliding my hand down his arm, I gripped his wrist and pulled. “I’ll be right with you.” I practically dragged Marc into the file room.

“What the hell are you doing?” I gritted my teeth to keep from yelling.

Marc stood there dumbfounded, his lips moving but nothing coming out. I hate when he gets awe struck just because I speak to him. Submissives are such a pain. His glasses slid down his nose and fogged up the more he tried to speak. Great, I had to give him the one thing that snapped him out of this state. A friggin’ kiss on the lips!

Remember Lucy from Charlie Brown and when Snoopy kissed her, her tirade about dog germs? I felt like that when I kissed Marc. Hopefully a quick peck on the lips would do it. I didn’t have time to floss, rinse and brush before I got back to tall, dark, and got me steamed back out at the counter.

I leaned in and rapidly brushed my mouth over Marc's. He started stammering and pressing his lips against mine. Little shit tried to french me. I pulled back and slugged him in the gut. Smiling, I said sorry and left him doubled over.

“Thank you for waiting.” I hope I hadn’t purred or sound too perverted. The images running through my mind were kinky enough. Now if I could get Marc replaced by Gregor, I’d be in ecstasy. My cat half wanted to rub up and down his long legs and my lower half wanted to prostrate me in front of him saying go for it.

“I hope I didn’t interrupt something.” Gregor's sneer and wink sent ripples through me. If I kept up this pace, I’d be moaning and cumming from just talking to him. He hadn’t even told me his name.

He leaned on the counter bringing him closer to my level. I moved forward and smiled.

The counter cut into me as I tried to lean forward. Damn being five foot four isn’t great. At least I could look into his lovely eyes and dry out my panties with all the heat my lower half generated.

Blogs - Tell Me Something I Don't Know, Please?

Good Friday morning to all you shapeshifter lovers out there. In the spirit of Crystal's awesome blog on Wednesday, I decided to ask a question that's been on my mind recently. Blogs - What do we like to see in them, what do we not like to see in them and free reads, good, bad or so-so?

Okay, so that's more than one question - anyone with hot, sexy shapeshifting characters, feel free to send them over to spank me! ;)

So I thought I would start by sharing my preferences...

What do I like to see in a blog - Color, life and spunk.

What you need more? Alrighty...
Color - I like to see fun and colorful pictures, it draws me in. If the picture fascinates me, I'm going to read your blog.
Life - We all have them. Interesting things happen all the time, tell me about some of the things that happen to you. Or your reaction to something going on in the world. I'm interested.
Spunk - Have fun with it. Post something silly sometimes, tell me something that intrigues you or freaks you out. Tell me a joke or your favorite drink, shock me even. I'm up for it. :)

What don't I like to see in a blog?
Excessive ranting - Tell me if something makes you angry and I'll listen. Turn it into an every blog occurrence and I'm going to stay away more than I visit. I would guess a lot of people feel that way.

Free reads - I like them. It gives me a darn good idea if I want to buy that authors works. If it's a serial story, like our very own Savanna Kougar is oh so good at, I'll be back to the blog day after day to see what's happened in the free story land. If I come back for the story, I'm definitely going to read the rest of the blog...but hey, that's just me. :)

So now it's your turn, tell me what do you like or dislike about blogs you read and is it a Yea or Nay on the free reads?

Have a great weekend.
