To the Bat Cave!

“Mooney,” Marissa hissed anxiously as she edged out of the shrubbery.

“Over here, babe,” he murmured, waving his had to her as if she somehow couldn’t see him. Not only could she see him, but she was pretty sure everyone inside the well-lit building to the far left could, too.

“I don’t think this is such a good idea,” she hissed.

“Nonsense,” the huge wolf gawffed as he dropped his drawers. “There is nothing better than crashing a Wayne shin-dig. Besides, you said you wanted to know what teenage werewolves did for fun in a town like Talbot’s Peak.”

“You could have just told me you used to go skinny dipping in the Waynes’ fake pond while they were throwing a party,” she whispered, rolling her eyes.

“I’m a show-not-tell kind of guy, babe. You should know that about me by now. Now get you witchy butt over here. If anyone looks out onto the patio from the balcony, they’ll be able to see you.”

Yes, Marissa agreed silently as she dodged across the flagstone patio of the Wayne Estate. She did know him very well now. They had been mated for two years, after all. They even had a pup on the way. She dropped her hand to the slight swell of her abdomen and smiled fondly. And then yelped when her rascally mate swiped the bikini top off, his hands moving so fast she had no idea what he was up to.

“Mooney!” she hissed again. “What if someone comes out here and sees us?”

“That’s why it’s fun, babe. You never know if you’re going to get caught.” Mooney grinned, his dark eyes sparkling with mischief, as he walked backwards toward the fake pond. With every step he took, his heavy package swayed seductively. The longer she watched, the less it swayed, though. Marissa giggle when she realized he was getting hard just from watching her watch him.

“That’s my girl,” he murmured. “Now take off those bottoms and get your ass over here. If we do get caught, I want to at least be able to say I boned my mate in the bat’s cave…”

Oh, that's too cool. Super fun flash, Rebecca... and some flashing in the pool, I bet.

Interesting synchronicity also. I just had Brandon Wayne and Leona Lane arriving at the grand opening of the Midnight Stardust Supperclub in my WIP.

However, I didn't know if Marissa and Mooney would be in attendance?

Dang, I totally missed the parallel there! Maybe Joker's got something going down since his more responsible big brother's not at home...

"Heavy package," eh? You dirty girl.
