Hugs Needed

I've just received some HORRIBLE news.

Dollhouse has been cancelled.

You may remember I blogged about this revolutionary new show when I first fell in love with it, as I recognized them as shapeshifters of the mental kind.

I've been recording it and watching it, happily zooming through the commercial breaks to get to the juicy stuff.

Now it's cancelled. Was it too intellectual? Not enough shootouts and explosions? Come on Hollywood, what's wrong with you. Character IS story. Hello!

Going off now to pout and sulk.

Bye bye, Dollhouse. :(

Mental hug! I LOVE Dollhouse too and am heartbroken! I don't know why they keep doing this to good shows.

Crystal, hugs from me too! I absolutely hate falling in love with a show, then having it cancelled.
I think, personally, they're a bunch o' idiots who actually think they know what people want.

Big hugs on this one! I hate when they do this. Apparently character only matters when you have one drunken diva trying to scratch another one's eyes out on reality tv. Apparently their idea of a good show and ours are completely different, which is why I rarely watch tv anymore.

With any luck there will be a DVD and somebody will take the chance and make a movie to wrap things up like Joss did with Serenity and the Firefly series;-)

((hugs)) grr I hate when this happens and I swear it happens all the time when there is a show that actually has some grit to it.

Paris, I'm with you on the reality tv thing. Enough already. So much of it is so gross. Does America have some kind of wicked obsession with watching others behave badly? Doesn't Hollywood realize how ugly it makes us look? The other thing that really gets me is all the dramas that focus on very young people being snotty to each other.

America, your skank is showing.

Please please please let them at least give Victor and Sierra a happy ending.

I so agree! I just watched the episode where Sierra got her original personality back, and she remembered and knew she loved Victor!
