Gotta Have A Sparkly!
I'm sort of a girly girl, at times. I love dressing up. I haven't been to a conference in several years so I'm pretty excited that this year I'm going to attend the Romantic Times convention for the first time as a published author.
As exciting as I find that, I realized that I'm probably not going to be able to get by with popping in the same old earrings every day (as I usually do). I may actually need to accessorize. But what if my luggage got lost? What is the one "pretty" that I couldn't do without?
Which of course, led me to thinking: what kind of sparkly would my jaguar shifters be attracted to? Well, Kira was a take no prisoners, no-nonsense kind of girl but she couldn't resist a street vendors hand-made,bracelet. She'd never had the opportunity to enjoy something just because she thought it was pretty.
What about your shifters? Would an emerald choker "collar" amuse them or are they more the earth mother, hippie chic kind of girl who might like a leather wrist band or a macrame` necklace? If your male shifter wore a watch, would it be a Timex or a Rolex? Oh, come on. You know how nosy I am:-)
Hugs,
Paris

I imagine my shifters would normally skimp on the accessories because jewelry could fall off or get broken during an unexpected shift. If the occasion requires no shifting, however, it makes sense the alphas would accessorize to the hilt since they're the ones at the head of the pack. Power always needs to show off. The omegas probably go around in sweats and rarely comb their hair. I imagine also the coyotes would be addicted to bling. If you spot a yellow-eyed woman in a gold chain necklace and tight red dress, make sure you've still got all your credit cards.

Paris, oh so cool, that you're going to the RT convention. Enjoy it to the max. It's a perfect place for sparklies during all the parties...
I'm a girly girl when it comes to sparklies. Though, I haven't had the opportunity to express that part of myself for a long time.
Hmmmm... let's see, my shifters. Sun Rocket is more of a leather-loving girl, or wearing anything sleek. Though, diamonds do attract her.
Sable... well, I won't mention her collar as far as sparkly preferences... however, since she loves shifting into her black cat form, sparklies are a hindrance. Though, for a night out, she'd dress up all sparkly.
Zio doesn't bother with much jewelry, except for the necklace that bears his royal signature and he is a man who particularly likes his boots.
Trail is definitely not a watch-wearing or anything of that kind man. He'd wear a ring for Seneca, though. And to fancy up, he might wear turquoise in the American Native tradition.
Pat, yep, so true!

Me, I'm a girly girl when it comes to diamonds and gemstones. My eyes cross and I grin like a kid on Christmas morning.
Marina however is more the leather and silver girl. :)
Have a great time at RT!
Pat,
I'll be sure to be on the look-out;-) LOL! If for no other reason than to spot a coyote shifter!
Savanna,
It sounds like our girls will be girls...they love the sparkly stuff;-)and I'll be enjoying a chance to wear the stuff that usually sits in the drawer! Thank you;-)
Serena,
LOL! Okay, one of these days I've got to see that "face"! Leather and silver sound purrrfect;-) and thank you!
