Nope

What Rebecca said. Time got away from me too last week, and history's already repeating itself. I just got another freelance assignment with a short deadline, so my weekend's already shot. I need to learn to manage my time more efficiently.

I could have banged out a chapter this morning -- I know what happens in my next chapter, and where the story's going -- but it would have been rushed and not as good as I'd like. So I decided to skip this week as well, and get back to my own stuff once the paid work's out of the way. I'm between WIPs at the moment, so I can focus on this and maybe get a couple chapters written ahead so this doesn't happen again.

The good news is, I finally finished the second, typed-up draft of my current WIP. It's cooling off now, awaiting final edit. With luck, J. J. Collins should have another sub in the mail before the month is over, provided I stop getting these short deadlines.
