Love's Synergistic Ways

Octavia looked at the snow globe center of her dressing table.  Roses of varying shades filled the water and artificial snow interior.  The roses retained their beauty for her to enjoy again and again.  She remembered the time the bouquets arrived shortly after Tomas joined their household.  Tongson's jealousy and possessiveness almost broke the trio apart.  Tomas admitted to feeling similar pangs and quirks during a yelling match between the two of them.

Octavia smiled as she reached for the globe admiring how the sunbeam shining through the frosted window pane illuminated the tricolored rose center of the display.  Three distinct colors each brilliantly standing out at the edges of the petal, muted as they flowed toward the center of the rose blended together in a mixed new shade.  The shade showed tinges and parts of the other colors creating a whole that brought out the discrete qualities of each part of the whole. One word came to mind, synergy.  The sum is greater than the individual parts.

“Admiring or remembering, love?” Tomas’s voice purred over her shoulder warming her ear.   He nipped the bare flesh between her neck and where the strap of her night gown lay.
“Maybe both, you feline,” Tongson murmured, moving up on her other side.  His warm hand slid up her arm stopping at her shoulder.

Octavia smiled as she viewed the uniquely different men’s reflections in the mirror.   There was no mistaking the love their eyes glowed.  Glancing higher, she noted they stood shoulder to shoulder, touching without avarice or jealousy.  Each knew the value they brought to the triad.  When she remarked on either male’s similarities to the other in emotion or action, they teased or fussed sometimes.  Most of the time, they smiled and nodded agreeing that even though they were different in their animalistic natures, their human side embraced the difference and learned how similar they were in many ways.  Love did that to people who took the time to learn, embrace change, and see things from a perspective diverse from their own.

“I’m seeing the new and change amongst us while remembering.” Octavia picked up the snow globe, saluting Tongson and Tomas individually.

“Good times and hard ones influence each of us,” Tongson offered kissing her cheek.  He glanced up catching Tomas’s nod.

“Yes, my friend and co-husband,” Tomas replied, kissing Octavia’s other cheek.  “I learned how to fit in and to share.  To embrace my uniqueness and let go of fear while finding out how to trust.”

Tongson smiled.  He winked at the three of them as he spoke.  “I had to overcome my own doubts and worries.  I needed to let love guide me instead of listening to my mind.  Letting my heart speak and address the issues that plagued me most took a lot of work and time.”

“How would you rate the effort?” Octavia asked rubbing her cheek against Tongson’s hand.

“Worth the journey and education,” Tongson replied, raising his hand to cup her face.  “And you my co-part?”  Tongson nodded to Tomas.

“Hard work is often worth the effort.  I took the path of resistance until I realized that letting love in was easier than I thought.  I stopped resisting and started loving.” Tomas raised his hand above Octavia’s head, palm up moving it toward Tongson.  “Loving showed me a way I didn’t know existed.”

Tongson raised his free hand up, grasping Tomas’s over Octavia’s head.  Each nodded as the trio quietly sat taking in the moment and the love surrounding them.  Octavia’s  smile grew as Tomas and Tongson brought their faces down next to hers so the three appeared surrounded by the halo the setting sun reflected into the mirror.

Love’s synergy brought them together.  Mixed, enhanced, and even changed them while bringing them closer and more fully in love.  That love multiplied and embraced Mickey and Nighthawk.  A trio became a quintet and a family strong and firmly bonded.  Love’s catalyst and addition brought them to a place they might not have gotten to without it.

Abebi's Declaration

Jackson sat down next to Abebi. Even with her baby bump showing, he couldn't stop wanting her. Every time he saw a pregnant woman, Jackson inhaled and delighted in the taste of feminine pheromones rolling across his wolfish taste buds. Each woman smelled different. Humans had a distinct tang to them. Abebi and the other shifters of the pack tasted unique. Their odor together here in the room ramped his male horny id into overdrive. One of the women present kept giving him the once-over stare. She'd smiled at him and winked more than once. Jackson was sure if he stood up, his obvious reaction would be present for all to see. Hiding a hard-on wasn't easy when his cock felt like it was swollen and ready to orgasm from the first touch from any of the women present.

Abebi shifted in her seat. The group baby shower for the pregnant women of the pack as well as their extra partners made sense. Ten females besides herself were expecting babes. A couple of human newcomers to Remoor Beach were present. They shyly flirt and smiled as the men attending the function talked with them. At first, they hadn't known how to take the gathering until Remo had introduced the group and explained that flirting was harmless unless someone decided to take it further and that was up to all involved to work out. Jackson sitting next to her indicated where his preference laid for the moment. How was he taking things? Abebi turned catty-cornered to Jackson and put her hand on his.

Jackson's gaze met hers. Abebi nodded and wet her lips. Time had come to speak her mind. “Jackson, I said I'd think about sharing you. I wonder if you've given much thought to sharing me or what opening our relationship means to you.”

Jackson bobbed his head and wrapped his hand around hers. “I'm new to sharing a gal of my own. Back in the Peak, females in heat were open targets. Cross mating didn't occur much unless you frequented Dante's Interspecies Pleasure den. Here its accepted and encouraged. I prefer this community over the purists views.”

Abebi inhaled and glanced over her shoulder. The two hunks she'd been dreaming about for the last three weeks were standing close by wearing nothing but loosely knotted towel sarongs. The hot-tub was heating up. Remo loved hot-tubing as much as he loved making a woman climax. Abebi ducked her head as vivid images of the two and Jackson fondling her as she lounged nude in the hot tub flushed searing heat over her. The need to orgasms rocked her genitals and throbbed deep within her belly.

Jackson smiled as he watched Abebi flush. Her cheeks and neck faint red tinge told him she was shopping the males in the room as much as he was the women. Sex oozed from all present. No one seemed bothered by it. This party wasn't about getting it on or scoring as some of the human males referred to it. Rather the attendants were open to pursuit and acknowledged their sexual interest as positive. Jackson found he liked being able to think about other women sexually without having to worry about Abebi being upset. Flirting was fun and the idea of taking up with a few of those present intrigued him.

“Have you decided if you're willing to share me? Open our relationship up to include others?” Jackson scooted closer to Abebi. He straddled the bench he sat on and pulled her back to him. “Lean on me and tell me what is going on in that pretty head of yours.”

Abebi's suppressed laugh vibrated his chest. Jackson reached down, cupped her chin, and tilted her head gently back until he could see her face. Her mirth light up her eyes and her cheeks colored more. Abebi's grin was infectious. Jackson leaned down and brushed his lips over hers. As he pulled away, Abebi spoke.
“Sharing can be awkward. I've never been in the position of the one making the decision affecting more than myself. Most of the males I've pursued were single and wanted a dalliance for a while with no permanence. Now I'm part of a couple as well as a larger extended group. I'm unsure at times.”
Abebi reached up and patted his cheek as she sighed.

Jackson nodded. “I understand. I'm there too. Remo said each couple works out their own rules and agreements. I've given that some thought.”

“Me too. Sandy said she and Mick have one that requires disclosure often and early. No surprises if possible. Of course, acting without notice is frowned upon with them. Its a matter of declaration of intents.”

Jackson chuckled. “Darling, you're more important to me than any other female, critter or human. I signed on cuz I wanted to not, not because I was forced. I can look and lust. Taking another filly into my bed is gonna be a decision you will know about and are comfortable with. Okay?'

Abebi's smile grew and deepened as Jackson hugged her. “Let's try this ground rule for now. If we see someone who we are interested in and want to pursuit even for just a sexual interlude we tell each other first and talk it out. If more develops we keep on communicating, and no unprotected sex. No more unplanned pregnancies, right?”

Jackson lifted Abebi's hand from her stomach where it had laid protectively cupping their pups. He nibbled her fingers before kissing her palm and closing his hand around hers. “No unplanned anything darling. Keeping you and anyone else we're interested in safe is of utmost importance to me. Now as to what's got you blushing—tell me who and how I'm involved.”

A New Way of Seeing Things

“I don’t know if I said the right thing.”  Abebi toyed with her spoon.  Sandy sat across from her in the local coffee shop.  They sat near the front window.  Folks walked up and down the streets visiting the shops or looking at the Christmas displays each window showed.

Sandy set her fork down and thoughtfully chewed.  She picked up her coffee, drank, and spoke.  “Jeanne out did herself with this gingerbread cheesecake.  I’m glad you suggested coming here.”

Sandy laid her hands palms down on the table.  She leaned forward, continuing in a lower volume. “You had to answer Jackson.  Shit, the whole group was hanging on the two of you.  Why are you distressing?  You spoke from your heart, didn’t you?”

Sandy reached for her fork as Abebi responded.  “I wish it was that clear.”

Sandy drummed her fingers on the table.  “Did you tell them what they wanted to hear or what you thought Jackson wanted?”

Abebi swallowed the last of her decaffeinated coffee.  “If I stop to sort things out, probably a mixture of both with a stout splash of my own feelings added in too.”

Sandy’s nodded didn’t bode well.  Sandy talked when she felt strongly about the topic.  Abebi didn’t see this side often.  Why was she being quiet?

“I want to be sure Jackson gets to stay on if he wants even if we don’t work out.  I worry about him.”  Abebi toyed with her spoon, looking out the window in between glances at Sandy.

“Why worry about him?  He’s got to earn his merit just like the rest of us did.  Even you darlin’.”  Sandy forked another bite of cheesecake into her mouth.

Abebi wanted to squirm as two hot hunks passed the window.  Her next-door neighbor enjoyed a secondary relationship with them and spent a couple of afternoons a week basking in their touch and sexual play.  Pregnancy did nothing to still her want and desire for others.  Problem was she and Jackson hadn’t mated more than once in human form.  Their encounters were mostly as their wolfish counterparts.

“Yes, I earned my place in the pack.  Jackson is well on his way to gaining his too.  I wonder if all couples go through this.”  Abebi snagged the last bite off Sandy’s plate.

“Go through what?”  Sandy leaned back in her chair, eyeing the two hunks along with Abebi.
“Agreeing to others and then thinking did I do the right thing?”  Abebi shrugged as Sandy’s gaze met hers.

Sandy’s megawatt smile dried out Abebi’s throat.  Further words were impossible.  She pointed to Sandy and waved.

“Oh yeah now my turn, eh?”  Sandy’s smile grew.  “Hon, no one said it was easy.  Lupa knows Mick and I butted heads amongst my baas and his howls over a few of our side relationships.”

Abebi smiled back as best she could.  She sipped the water their server was kind enough to bring after a few frantic waves.  Sandy went on.

“We finally came to this agreement.  We talk about interests from the moment we know about them.  You can share some, a lot, or none at all.  Depends on where you are as a couple we found works for us.”  Sandy picked up the bill the server had laid next to her.  “Does that make sense?”

Abebi nodded.  She rubbed her lips together before voicing her views.  “Jackson is busy working overtime to get money for his rental deposits.  He’s renting the condo next to mine.  Seems he needs time to adjust to city life more.”

“Can’t take the animal or country out of him, I’m sure.”  Sandy winked as she laid the tip on the table.

“Yes, and sharing is going to take some getting used to.  He’s not wanting either of us to walk in on the other in the midst of things.”  Abebi fanned herself sure she was flushed as thoughts of Jackson naked and randy with her flashed through her mind.  What would he think if she whispered her current fantasy in his ear?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi Gang!
Well we have Abebi's answer finally.  Now I am fanning myself wondering what fantasy she has in mind for Jackson.  Dang, my muse loves to leave me hanging and wondering what is next.  Not to mention the two hunks Sandy and Abebi are eyeing.
Ah well, final edits for Hot for Torrey have come through and I'm hard at work finishing those up.  My muse decided to let me in on what Abebi decided.  Now we wait to see what her fantasy is.  Talk about another cliff hanger.
Mean while enjoy the warm weather if you can.  The holidays are here and so with it the end of the year.  Remember to take time for you and your spice as well as your loves.  I'm sharing a good book or two with them.
Poly Loving Were Style
Sam looked over at the two couples in the booth towards the back of the Josh’s bar. Two men and two women shared the rounded booth as though they were together. The men had changed seats twice during the course of their dinner. Each had share a rather passionate kiss with the women present. Quaffing more of his beer, he turned back to Sally, the bar keep.
“Damn that must be nice.” Sam jerked his thumb in the direction of the couples. “They seem to be arranging some hot time for the night.”
Sally smiled and nodded. She leaned closer. “Let’s get the facts straight, okay?”
Sam grimaced. “What the hell did I say wrong?”
“You didn’t say wrong. You assumed part way and not all the way. So I want to make sure you understand what is going on before you decide you want part of what they have.”
Sam pulled his beer to him and raised his glass to drink.
Sally took a hold of the glass. “Before you get a mouth full, let me finish. I don’t need beer spewed all over me.”
Sam let go of the glass. “All right. I’m waiting.”
“You’ve seen Josh, Anthony, and Tory. You know they’ve formed a family.”
Sam raised his eyebrow and looked at the picture of the two men and a very pregnant woman hanging on the wall near the cash register. “Had an inkling something was up. But not to that extent.”
Sally nodded. Leaning on the bar, she pushed Sam’s glass back to him. “They’re a triad. A polyamorous union.”
“A what?” Sam decided sipping his beer made more sense. Taking a swallow, he motioned for Sally to continue.
“The three of them are involved and committed to each other. They call it polyfidelitious. They prefer to keep their relationship to the three of them. Sorta closed. However, the couples over there are open to others. They’ve chosen to be a family of four.”
Sam drained his beer glass. “Kinda adds to the problems and woes don’t it?”
Sally smiled. “I asked the same thing of Josh, Anthony, and Tory. They gave me the weirdest look and laughed.”
“Why?” Sam sat back on his bar stool, wondering what can of worms had he opened up with his initial remark.
Sally placed another beer on the bar in front of him. “On the house, you may need it after my next remark.”
“Okay.” Sam braced himself for Sally’s apparently loaded statement.
“The three of them fight regularly according to them. You should hear when they all get going on a heated subject. Voices carry from the office. The staff has gotten use to them speaking their peace and them kissing to make up. At first seeing Josh and Anthony kiss squicked a few but now we all know if it gets quiet in there to knock real loud before opening the office door.”
Sam tried to swallow. His dry throat refused to cooperate. Two guys kissing---he’d heard rumors about Josh and Anthony. Now he knew the facts. Grabbing the beer with both hands, he swallowed. “Isn’t that a bit of TMI?”
“Not if you are wanting to get in on being poly as folks call it. Hell even I am giving it some thought.” Sally leaned much closer. “You never know who might strike your fancy.”
Sam sat his beer down. He glanced at what Sally had laid on the bar as he drank. Her hand laid palm up, open and near his. “You mean me?”
“Yes sugar. And my huggy hubby is over there if you want his permission to accept my offer.” Sally pointed with her other hand to a man sitting two bar stools over toward the opposite end of the bar. He waved and blew her an air born kiss.
Sam swallowed. Sally had turned him on from the first time he’d met her and got talking with her. Knowing she was married added to his not supposed to pursue list until her disclosure in the last few moments. Laughter erupted behind him and drew his attention.
The two couples walked past with their arms around each other. Male then woman until they got near a table. As they split, the women looped their arms around each other and moved toward the door. Sam swallowed twice. Glanced back at Sally and laid his hand in hers. “All of you shape shifters?”
Sally tossed back her head, laughing. “No darling. We humans know about our cohorts. We just accept em for who and what they are. Loving decent folks like many and some not so nice otherwise. Me I can be an animal in bed. If you catch my drift.”
Smiles and Love Multiplied
Tory looked at the shirt she purchased with Anthony in mind. How lovely things had become once Josh and she had ironed out their differences. Josh understood Anthony's bi needs better once he'd gotten past his jealousy.
Poly pride festivals were new to shifters. Sharing and not tearing each other apart rankled many within the shifter community back in Talbot's Peak. She wondered how Danny was doing with Penelope and her aussie. Last time he'd stopped by the bar, he'd worn a smile that light up his face and eyes. Perhaps he'd found what he was looking. Tory hoped so.
She smiled and hummed as she emptied out the other items she bought partly out of need and also as gesture of her growing love for Josh. How would he take the leather gear and nipple clamps? Would he ask Anthony to try them out in one of their weekly threesomes?
God their last one had been so hot, she'd melted the ice Anthony stuff her pussy full of the moment Josh climbed up on the bed and began stroking her clit. He'd offered to get her so wet and volcanic with need that Anthony laughed after he asked Josh if he turned bi. Josh said he decided to give only one woman a whirl, Tory.
Josh's long thick cock twitched each time she'd looked at him. Anthony had driven them both to playing with each other as he lay back watching them stroking his own thickness. Who said a male needed extra inches to please his lovers? Josh and Anthony did fine with theirs.
Sixty-nining with Josh had given her longer and hard orgasms than she thought possible. When he'd taken her from behind, Tory had creamed within his first few strokes. His hot gism spattered against her deep inside her hot throbbing pussy as Anthony had helped deep throat him. Soon his orgasm coated her throat.
Tory squirmed as images of the rest of the evening came rushing back. Damn she needed both Josh and Anthony now. Of course there was the pink plus sign stick tucked in medicine chest. And the little shirt mirroring the one she'd gotten for Anthony. The one she'd hidden for Josh said I'm theirs. She wondered what their reaction would be to hers. She smiled as smoothed out the lettering on the front--womb with a view.
