It’s finally here! Today marks the third and final release of the Guardian’s Realm trilogy: The Clash. Robert and Cvetelina first met in The Combat, and did not part as friends. This turbulent relationship just wouldn’t leave my writers’ mind alone, and I knew theirs was to be my third story.

Not only did I put a jaded human Vampire Task Force agent together with a six-hundred year old vampire female, but I gave her money, beauty, and prestige. All things Robert resents almost as much as he does vamps.

Robert learned to hate all vampires when his son Matthew was turned almost five years ago. When Robert learns his son is in Bucharest, he needs Cvetelina’s help to find him. She’s already irritated at being threatened into assisting the Vampire Task Force once and being recruited a second time -and having to work with the World’s Most Annoying Agent- is low on her list of fun things to do.

I dragged Robert halfway across the world to an unfamiliar, unfriendly territory where he doesn’t speak the language, has no idea where he’s going, and hates the food. Almost immediately he’s dosed with the vampire drug and finds himself bound to the bed in Cvetelina’s country manor, where he faces (or rather, faces away from) a mischievous house guest with a big pink butt plug.

Yeah, you could say I’m wicked to my characters, but I promise I always let them have their happy ending and The Clash is no different. I hope you like Robert and Cvetelina’s story, out today from Loose Id.
