Six Sentense Sunday!

“Your uncle is going to kill us when he finds out what we did last night.”

“Which part?” he inquired with mock innocence. “The part where I loved you weel into the early morn before sneaking us both into the castle? Or the part where you pounced on me, thinking I might make a tasty snack?”

“How about the part where his nephew, one of the most powerful lords of the Kind, took a common shifter for his mate?”

Sassy six, Rebecca! Death or no death, no one can pass up being "loved, weel into the early morn" ;)

Sounds like trouble for both of them. Good job.

A nice smorgasbord of dramatic conflict, not to mention more-than-hints of Naughty Bits, and this reader wants to know more.

This six got my interest up so much that I just came back from Amazon where I bought it for my Kindle.

Lots of problems for this couple! But "for his mate" tells me it wasn't a one night stand. Good six.

I'm glad you all liked that snippet. It about killed me to have to stick to only six sentences! These two characters were a hoot to write. Cait isn't quite as "common" as she thinks she is and Luc doesn't care what his uncle thinks of his choice in mate... but someone else did and makes her feelings on the subject well know.
