Voice Over Friday...

Elephants, rabbits and wolves…oh my!  Calling all actors…is your voice smooth as silk, gravelly low or unique in some way?  Come to the high school theater dept tomorrow morning and tryout to portray your favorite Talbot’s Peak resident in the upcoming webisode series written by Morty J. Melmen.

Ziva rolled her eyes and finished typing the announcement on to the website.  Morty “The Jackel” Melmen was one ballsy canine.  The development of a webisode based on a town filled with shapeshifters is a good idea, especially in a paranormal loving society like the one going on these days. However, Dante, Nick and the other alphas were sure to put the kibash on the adult rated cartoon.

No one was allowed to put the word out about their haven of a town, either in real life or graphic form.

Ziva picked up a pen and started jotting down actors whose voices she thought would work for she and Nick.  She was partial to Allison Scagliotti from Warehouse 13, for herself.  Nick she could hear Micheal Keaton loud and clear with Tom Hanks following a close second.  Mistress Penny had to be Angelina Jolie.

“This could be fun.”  Ziva continued to brainstorm voices for Morty’s project, deciding right then and there that she would figure out a way to help “The Jackel” succeed…on the down low, of course.

We here at Shapeshifter Seductions have been having a heck of a lot of fun coming up with ideas for our characters.  So far, I've identified three of mine, but I'm still working on the rest.  Surprisingly, I may see my characters and one actor, but their voices are usually someone else entirely.  :D

So tell us, who from real life do you see or hear as our characters?

Have a wonderful weekend!

Serena, love it... lol!

Change the names to protect the innocent. The Jackal needs to make certain his webisodes appear purely fictional. A 'what if?' shapeshifters and paranormals existed. ~big smiles~

Another choice for Gil: Matthew Perry. I see Gil as kind of an "everyman" shifter, if that's even possible.

As stated before, I always pictured Brendan Fraser as Rick the mountain lion. We've got to get Jensen in there somehow. Dash? Mooney?

If only Ricardo Montalban were still alive. I'd listen to him be anybody.

Savanna Kougar said...

Ricardo Montalban, oh yes!

"Welcome to Talbot's Peak!" hehe, but who would he be?

I agree, Savanna! I'll encourage Ziva to mention those suggestions to The Jackel. ;D

Matthew Perry's another good one, Pat. And Brendan Fraser...Yum! Jensen must be added to the group...Perhaps he would make a good Erol?

No, Pierce Brosnan would make a good Erol with that wicked British accent. Oh jeez, he would make a perfect Trevor, cousin and instigator of the naked purple fairy pranks! LOL

Savanna Kougar said...

Oh, gawd, Pierce Brosnan. Yes! On that note, we need the voice of Sean Connery, too.

And Patrick Stewart.

I think I may have Shere Khan: James Earl Jones. He's done a bad guy voice before.

Savanna Kougar said...

Absolutely, Patrick Stewart. I adore his voice.

James Earl Jones would be good, especially if he does an Asian syntax.

I just did a Google search, and Sean Connery played the Russian sub commander in The Hunt for Red October. I think we've found our Sergei.

And if we can't have Ricardo, how about Antonio Banderas? We have a Lamar!

Savanna Kougar said...

What?! I can't have Antonio Banderas for my Zorro-like character?

Ricardo can rise from the ethers. I just know he can.

Of course, maybe Antonio can do two different voices.

What about Ricky Martin for Lamar?

Pat C. said...

Absolutely! And Owen Wilson for Jamie.

Savanna Kougar said...

Okay, here's my complete lack of trendiness. I can't remember who Owen Wilson is. I know the name, but the memory isn't kicking in.

Cute blond actor, played opposite Jackie Chan in Shanghai Noon. He's starred in a couple movies whose names I can't remember now.

Just realized, we need Tommy Lee Jones in here. Maybe he could be Mooney?

Savanna Kougar said...

Tommy Lee Jones as Mooney's voice, yeah, I could 'hear' that. ~smiles~

What about George Hamilton? He has a fab sophisticated voice, and he can also do a gay character. He played the gay blade, a takeoff on Zorro.

Oh, and now I don't recall his name, but the second-in-command actor who played the part American Indian in a Star Trek series. Dang!

Also, how about Bruce Willis?

Okay, and I always like Robert Wagner's voice, and his character in Hart to Hart.

Pat C. said...

Robert Beltran as Chakotay. Is that the one? Okay, there's Spirit Bear.

Savanna Kougar said...

Yes, Robert Beltran as Chakotay.I the love sound of that character's name. Love him as character, too.

He would make a good Spirit Bear. Although, there are several sexy celebrity American Indians with fantastic voices.
