Happy Wednesday!

Wow, what a week so far. Monday morning, neither my car nor my truck would start. Yesterday was spend trying to get one or the other running. (Didn’t happen) Today… I sent a bunch of time fuming about passive aggressive people who should not be allowed to write Amazon.com reviews. It would seem that Tor decided to wait a few months to release the e-book version of a book they just released in hardback. And the butt-monkeys over at Amazon.com protested by giving a slew of 1-star reviews to a book they had never even read. Wow.

So anyway. I’m going to post funny stuff today to try to get myself off that rant cycle before I go too far…

Here is a nice "silly animals dooing funny things" video:

If that wasn't enough giggles for you, I also have this lovely news story about some people who confused a dog with a lion. (was going to post a picture, but blogger won't upload it; sorry)

With that, I am going to bid you all adu. Have a great rest-of-the-week!

Oh, Rebecca, those were some funny vids!

Gah, I hate when people give bad reviews or any reviews for something they've never read!

Hope you got the cars going again!

The dog that attacked his own foot for trying to steal his bone was my favorite, though the one of the sheppard pushing the kid in the little cars was rather hilarious, as well.

I'd probably get my car running faster if I wasn't making my kid fix it, but he needs to learn how to work on cars more than I need to not ride the bus to work. I ain't touching what's wrong with the truck. I'll save up and take it to a mechanic rather than muck around in the steering column.

Monday wasn't my favorite day by far!!!

Since I'm still on dial-up, it's hell getting vids to download.

Good idea about your kid, he does need to know. I wish I'd learned a whole lot of skills I didn't get a chance to learn.

Today is my birthday (don't ask which one). That video is the best gift yet!

Some writers over on the AW forum report they've already gotten responses (rejections and wait-and-sees) from Harper Voyager. I subbed on October 1 and haven't heard anything yet either way. How about you?

Wishing your vehicles a quick return to mechanical health. Also wishing somebody would hurry up and invent the transporter.

Happy 29th, Pat! Oh, you know you're 29...just like me, perpetually! :D

Yes, Happy 29th Birthday, Pat!

No, I haven't gotten an e-mail yet. (Knock on wood!)

As far as vehicles go, I'm fine with riding the bus. And I am a firm believer in not sending kids out into the world without some basic life skills. I never appriciated that when my folks made us learn how to fix cars and leaking pipes as well as basic sewing and such. But I saw first hand when I was in the Marines what happens when kids leave home without those skills. I refuse to be the mom of a grown man who can't change a tire or wash his own clothes!

A man who can't wash his own clothes? I thought that was all of them. Or so they claim ...

My mom was 29 for years. Which became embarrassing when my brother and I got into our 40s and 50s.
