Outting and Abouting...Ebook style!

The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner – checked out by the brothers McMahon junior division.  Which is which, I have to wonder, as they both lay down some awesome fury!  Ah, but wait, here’s another check out from the young wolves…The Sound and The Fury Cliff Notes.  Those naughty boys…

The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton – checked out by none other than the town trouble maker, John Lytle.  I suppose he would side with the greasers, but wait, weren’t they the protagonists of the story…that can’t be right, could our Johnny learn to stay gold!

Slayer for Hire by P.E. Cunningham – Lola Longing, sweet little kitty she is, has been purring loudly for this new authors offering.  Her blood suckers are good or bad and not twinkle lights in disguise.  I like!

Mistress Penelope has quite the interesting list of ebooks checked out as well:
Hot for Torrey by Solara Gordon, Branded by the Texans by Savanna Kougar, Equal Partners by Rebecca L. Gillan and The Challenge by Serena Shay
One has to wonder what her weekend is shaping up to be.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest  by Ken Kesey appears to be on our fine Dante’s Kindle this week, though you’d think dealing with this town and it’s issues would give him enough of that.

Lady Chatterley’s Lover by D.H. Lawrence sat on Lamar Balboa’s ereader, yeah, he was probably reading it to Jamie before bed.  Such a sweet and sexy pair they made.

Our fearless leader here at the Gazette seems to perusing An idiot’s guide to training your dog.  Ah Nick, is that for our new pup or for you?  Hell, she’d bet that even now he sat in his office book in one hand and long & strong in the other.  Dayum, why did that make her so hot?
And last, but certainly not least considering the 3+ pages of checkouts she got from the librarian, Talbot’s Peak Mayor Gil had checked out a book just yesterday titled, Nutz.  She wasn’t even going to go there…

Ziva reread her article for the website and smiled.  She loved being a reporter.  With a swift click of her mouse she deleted the current file and started a new one on which read the following…

Read an Ebook Week March 3rd- 9th — Have you read one yet?

She could and would never out her friends in such a manner, but she had a secret listing on the ereader in her purse as well, both the written rendition and movie version of All the President’s Men.  Some day she too would be an ace reporter.

How about ya'll out there?  Have you read an ebook this week?  There's still time!

You left out Merry and Dash, co-reading The Horse Whisperer.

Thanks for the plugs!

Hehe...I'm sure they were on the list, Ziva just didn't get that far. ;)

Serena, this is too, too good! ~smiling and giggling~

Ah, that Ziva has her own little black ebook list. Gotta know where the bones are buried if you're going to be an ace reporter.

Thanks Savanna! You sure do need to know where the bones are buried and having your own trench coat wearing informant doesn't hurt either. ;D

I wonder if our TP librarian would like to be known as Deep Throat, or if she has another moniker...

Don't snakes have deep throats. Could she be a snake shapeshifter?

Whoa ... distracted by thoughts of men in trenchcoats ... must refocus ...

Okay. As far as I know, Evie the coyote is TP's naughty librarian, and she can deep throat with the best of them. Just ask Grayson Chase.

As well as a snake, though? Good question. Maybe she and Lamar should get a bunch of bananas and have a contest. Of course, snakes can unhinge their jaws, so Lamar has a distinct advantage.

Well, Evie is naughty, no question. But, with a name like Evie, maybe she has a serpent friend at the library.

LOL...you ladies are great! I'd been thinking Ms. DT was Evie, helping a fellow naughty lady out, but it could be a new snake to the library...if anyone has an idea that flows that way. ;)
