Need A Friday Break?

Just in case you've had a week like mine, I thought I would post one of my favorite stress relievers - Sudoku!

For whatever reason, I've found that it is virtually impossible for me to think about other things, ~ ie: writing, blogging, promo, what to have for dinner, ~ while I'm working on a Sudoku puzzle.  So when things get wild inside my own head, I will whip out one of these babies and proceed to take a few well earned mental moments.

Have fun & Happy Friday, Everyone!

Serena, this is a new one on me. I've never seen one of these before.

Hey Savanna,
Really, never seen on before, that would make you one lucky lady...the game can prove to be, um, addictive. ;) Here's the basics:

The objective of the game is to fill all the blank squares in a game with the correct numbers. There are three very simple constraints to follow. In a 9 by 9 square Sudoku game:

•Every row of 9 numbers must include all digits 1 through 9 in any order
•Every column of 9 numbers must include all digits 1 through 9 in any order
•Every 3 by 3 subsection of the 9 by 9 square must include all digits 1 through 9

**The trick is that you can not have the same number in any row, column or square. :)

"Addictive" is the polite term. I love Sudoku but don't dare keep the booklets in the house because that's all I'll do for hours on end and the dishes will never get done, let alone the writing. I have the same problem with Freecell Solitaire. Why can't it be writing I'm addicted to? Nuts.

Wow, it's a good thing looking at all those numbers gives me a headache, then.
I need my time for other things. Course, I have other things I could addicted to real easily... like art/craft projects.

LOL...yep Pat, I love it too. I have lots of booklets in the house, but force myself to keep them under lock and key when I should be writing! Freecell is addictive, but for Solitare my downfall is Spider Solitare...eek!

Oh Savanna, arts/crafts projects do me in too... I have so many jewelry projects calling my name it's sometimes hard to keep a lid on my toolbox!
