Well, no flash from me today, sorry. The week has flown in a flurry of Harry Potters, Dr. Who's, music and mandatory reading. Summer at home with Darling Diva is a magical time for us both, but leaves me backlogged on the writing side. It matters not though as I would give up anything to have this time with her.
Now just because I don't have a flash doesn't mean I don't have something to share...
It seems our fine town of Talbot's Peak has lots of photogs who adore documenting the beauty around them.
These lovelies came from* our very own Jamie, the G&B photographer. It seems he has divised a way to attach a strap to his camera and take it with him in wolf form wherever he goes so as not to miss a thing.
So inventive! Another reason Lamar is so intrigued by the gentle red wolf.
Is it any wonder why shapeshifters are drawn to the wonderous wilderness Montana provides? The privacy, the greenery and waterways abound. They can run for miles, hunting is plentiful and the skies are clear.
Here is home and it is worth fighting for with teeth and claw, brawn and brain. Welcome to Talbot's Peak - Enjoy the views!
*Really the author found them on Pinterest. :)

Have a great weekend!

Very nice! That one of the waterfall almost makes you wish you could slip into the picture to cool off!
I know, right... To play in the falls and lounge in the shallow depths of the river on a hot, sweltering day is a perfect treat. :)
The only problem is, to get to these beautiful places you have to hike for miles, and physical exertion and I don't get along. Therefore, thanx for the pix!
It's supposed to go into the 90s this weekend and get humid. Maybe I can sit on the lawn with the hose and pretend ...
Oh thank you! Jamie and Serena.
Talbot's Peak, and the surrounding woods, the tall prairie, and the mountains in the near distance... is a wolf's paradise. A paradise for all Peakers.
Hey, Jamie took those shots and snuck them on Pinterest. ~grinz~
Oh Pat, I hear what you're saying. Physical exertion has been my bane for many years. One day I hope my inner shifter will appear and give me an animals ability to race the trails or maybe I'll get my letter from Hogwarts!
Yep, finished Harry Potter week...man I could go for a few of their nifty tools!
You are welcome from both Jamie and I. It is paradise, Savanna, I agree. And it is exactly why Peakites are so ferocious about protecting it!
Yeah, I could go for any nifty tool at this point!
I think my inner animal is a sloth.
I could go for a few lifetimes of rest and relaxation at this point. Sloth might not be a bad way to go. ~giggles~
LOL...yeah, sloth is probably what would emerge, but boy I'd rather have a cat peek her head up at me. Lazy, Sassy and proud of it! yep, bring on the cat. ;)
Lazy and sassy, I like that!
