Reading is Sexy!

“Fair One, I must fly…,” Erol said, standing behind the lounger his mate rested upon, his hand outstretched.

“Okay, have fun.” She replied, slapping her free hand into his much like the youth of the past with the “give me five” business he’d never understood.  In her other hand she held her book with no pages, what did she call it—a book reader or some such thing.

“No, you must fly with me, mate.”   A dragon’s mate always flew alongside her man, even if she was wingless.

“Can’t right now, hon.  I’m reading.”

Engrossed as she was in her book thing she wouldn’t even look up at him and that alone stoked the fire burning within.  He wanted to be the center of her attention, not some silly love book.  “You will come with me now!”

“Shh, Erol, I‘m right in the middle of a sex scene…”

Once again she drifted off into her book, but he would not have that.  Erol grabbed the reader and tossed it onto the table.  “Let us go, Fair One,” he said, picking her up even as she stretched for the book.

“Erol,” She screamed, juggling the offending item she'd grabbed, between her hands. “Can I at least bring it along?”

“If you must,” he grumped, taking them both to the sky.

“Say, hon,” she yelled from the safe place in his hands.  “How would you feel about sharing me with another man…you know just once or twice to try it out?”

Fire flew from his nostrils before he looked down at his mate.  “The next time you ask me that, Fair One, I will spank you!”

“Ooh, the hero does that on page fifty-nine, want me to read it to you?”

Erol raised his head and tipped his wings for another lap around the mountain and the little town of Talbot’s Peak.  He needed to make this quick.  The words spilling from Greely’s mouth were going to send them home PDQ.  Who knew, maybe there was something to this reading thing…

Safe & Sound

Nick stood sentinel over his mate, now resting as comfortably as she could in her wolf form.  She’d come to, briefly, while flying toward help in Erol’s massive, clawed grip.  He owed that dragon much and would somehow repay him.  Ziva and the pups were his world as he was theirs.

“How’s our patient?”

“Hey Leo,” Nick addressed the town vet, lightly, of course, so as not to wake the sleeping wolf. “She seems to be a bit more relaxed.  Shifting definitely helped.”

“Yeah, it usually does and the cocktail of meds I gave her will give her the chance to sleep a lot of the healing off.  She is going to be incredibly sore for the next week or so and with how deep her scrapes went, she’ll scab, but shouldn’t scar.”

“Thanks man.  And thanks for the use of the kilt.”  Nick glanced down at the surprising comfortable attire Leo had loaned him.  “Hell of a lot of freedom in this bad boy.”

“I know and the ladies love them.”

“That’s what I hear,” Nick laughed.  “Ziva’s always threatening me with one, I should have let her win that battle.  I’ll get it cleaned and back to you…”

“Forget it, why don’t you keep it and surprise your lady with it, she’s going to need something to keep the grumps away until she’s fully healed.  Besides, I have a bunch of them.  Gotta go.”

“Thanks again, Leo.”

Nick smiled to himself, he’d definitely surprise Ziva with his newest attire, maybe on Halloween.  He could be a sword wielding Highlander and for his lady love, a lovely, white silk, flowing dress.  It would work well with her bandages and she could be a beautiful ghost…or a lady in white.  He’d check out the new costume store in the Peak.  Word was, they did custom work and that was just what she needed…a lot of pampering.

##

Erol flew back, as quickly as he could, to where he’d left his fully dressed, Fair One.  She’d better have remained dressed or there would be hell to pay.  His mouth watered with the idea of a bit of toasted wolf.  He’s leave the young ones alone as he knew eating them would piss off his mate, but the other two were fair game.

As he drew closer to the ridge, he could see a soft white skin dancing on the rocks.  Not a seductive dance as most women would put on for their man, but for Greely, it was more like the robot mixed with a boot scoot and boogie as she’d called it the other day.  His woman could not dance, but for him it was the most seductive thing on the planet.

As long as the wolves were nowhere to be seen.

Erol landed in a shift and didn’t even bother to clothe himself.  He let his sense scan the area and found it was just he and Greely—a very naked Greely.  It didn’t get much better than this.

“Is this you being naughty?” he asked, even as he grabbed her by the ass and lifted her to him.

“No, think of it as your reward for doing something good,” she crooned into his ear.  “Unless you think I’m being naughty.”

“Definitely naughty, Fair One.  I think you need a spanking.”

“Don’t let me stop you,” she sighed into his ear.  “YIEEIEE,” then yelped as his hand came down on her plush cheek in the first of what would be many orgasm inducing pats.

Toasted Wolf Snack

Erol was mildly amused by the growled threats coming his way from atop the hill.  Two adult wolves threatening to do what, gouge out his eyes or claw away at his tough dragon skin?  Please, all he had to do was douse them with his dragon fire and he’d have a toasted wolf snack.

Lightening sharp pain made its way from a back tooth, up through an eyeball and down his right arm.  Erol held tight to the fire that wanted to erupt from the back of his throat and laid his head on the top of the gorge, between the angry wolves.  He opened his mouth wide and allowed an extremely pissed off Greely to jump out.

“I can’t believe you did that, you wide-nostril’ed, son of a fireless reptile!”

“Whoa” “Go Miss Greely,” the dynamite duo whispered between themselves even as his Fair One continued to berate him.

“We have talked about this, Erol, the only time you put me in your mouth is when I am a frog and we have to go under water…”

“What about during love-making, Fair One?”

“Erol!”

“Yeah!” “Right on”

“Not in front of innocent ears.”

“Innocent?” “Does she mean us?” Thor and Loki looked at each other.

“Now, times wasting, Erol.  Ziva looks quite hurt and there is no way she can make it up the side and into town on her own steam, but you can.  Be a good neighbor and take both she and Nick to see Dr. Leo.”

“Damn, too bad Z is unconscious, she’s gonna miss Dr. Dom working her over, or working over her.”

“Reetha! Now’s not the time.”

“I’m just saying…”

Erol swung his head between the now naked, bickering siblings.  “Great, more nudity.  Greely, shift and get back into my mouth.”

“No!  Get going, I’ll be waiting here when you return.”

Erol raised his head, knowing the flames were rising inside and not wanting to risk hurting his mate.

“Don’t worry, big guy,” Reetha said, sashaying closer to Greely. “We won’t eat her.”

“Yeah, frogs and canines don’t really mix, right boys…” Mooney joked.

“Yes, dad.” “Right-o, pop’s”

“We might, however, get her out of there spit soaked clothes.”  Reetha teased.

“Fair One…” Erol warned.

“Go on, I’ll be fine.”

Erol gently lifted both Ziva and Nick into his claws and started to take flight.  Half way up he heard Greely exclaim, “When in Rome.”

Planning to make this the fastest trip ever, Erol took off towards Talbot’s Peak. He released fire along the way to bleed off the tension currently wracking his body at the thought of anyone seeing his mate naked.  Who knows, he may get that toasted wolf snack after all.

Somehow, Greely and Erol have taken over my tale.  Go figure.

Have a wonderful weekend, y'all!

Pet Names and Fire Breathing Dragons

Nick twisted and turned, performing more aerial acrobatics than he thought possible, in hopes of keeping himself from becoming a shapeshifter shish-kabob.  He’d never dreamed his life would come to such a pointy end and wouldn’t involve wood of some sort.  Sadly, he’d miss out on the best parts of life…his pups laughing and playing and growing up.  He’d miss it all.  And damn it…he’d never marry the female of his dreams.

With a quick glance towards his mate, straining to reach out to him, Nick let loose with a soulful howl and prepared to meet the Lupa snout-to-snout.  A sharp stab to the ribs took him by surprise.  He’d hoped death by this kind of impaling would have been fast and less painful.  The even bigger shock came when he was suddenly flying upwards into the sky.  Nick had always hoped to join the great pack upon his death, but secretly suspected it would be the lone burning wolf for him.

##

“Be careful, Erol.  Don’t break him.”

“Are you really telling me what to do with the wolf you ordered me to save, Fair One?”

“That’s not just a wolf, you silly goose…”

“I AM DRAGON!” Erol roared.

“Fine, fine, fine…but listen that is not an ordinary wolf, Oh Mighty Dragon.”

 “Really?”  Clearly Greely thought he was stupid and that he wouldn’t recognize a fellow shifter.  She still had much to learn about dragons.  He did, however, like the affectionate name she’d just given him, even if she’d said it with a huff in her voice.

 “Nope, that’s Nick McMahon…”

 The reverence in her voice ruffled his feathers…or would have if he’d had any.  It also made him wonder if he should drop the infidel he currently held in his claws.  “The way you speak of this man makes me wonder if I should drop him.”

 “WHAT?  Don’t you dare, Erol!”

 Greely’s sudden movement across his back required Erol to slow and descend sooner than he’d intended.  Instead of a graceful landing as was usual, he’d had to claw onto the jagged rocks along the side of the gorge…digging in with his hind legs and using his wings to slowly make his way down.  Once at the bottom, he set the wolf on his feet and allowed Greely to dismount.  “Never risk yourself like that again, Greely,” he huffed, sending her hair out behind her. “I will resort to carrying you in my mouth if you repeat that action.”

 “I-I…”

 “I promise to always do as you say, Oh Mighty Dragon,” Erol rumbled, still in his dragon form.  “By the way, I like your new pet name for me…you may call me that from now on.”

 “I…what?”

 “Oh Mighty Dragon, I like that…you may continue to use it.”  He watched her vibrate with indignation, eager to see what she would do with his demand.

 “Grrr…arggg, you, you—humph.”

 Greely turned way from him with a stomp of her tiny foot and he was juiced.  Impatient to continue to their intended destination and lay her on the soft bed he’d bought just for her, in the castle of rock, hidden in these hills.

 “Oh!”

 Her gasp brought him back to reality and a picture that brought fire to his nostrils.  Nick, the shapeshifting wolf, was now a man racing to his woman, naked.  Damn wolves and their penchant for nudity.  What was worse was that he was swinging all over the place in his dash to get to the naked woman on the ground.

 “Avert your eyes, Fair One!”

 “Oh, Karma is going to just die that she missed this.  The rumor mill in Talbot’s Peak was so wrong…they must have been short by at least four inch…ahhhhhh.”

 Erol felt his blood boil, the fire barely restrained.  Someone was going to get hurt if Greely didn’t stop.  That would be his defense, he thought as he reached out and scooped her up, quickly placing her into his mouth.

 Her scream was muffled, but could still be heard as witnessed by the sudden quiet around him and the words of two little wolf boys.

 “Cool…He ate her!”

A Mighty Grip to the Rescue

So, it's an ultra shorty from me today.  Illness is alive and well in the Diva household, only now it's Alpha and Mama Diva down for the count. Happily, Darling Diva is back up and running, but I guess the cold had to go somewhere...
~~~
Nick!
Shouts from above echoed Ziva’s internal scream for her mate.  He was falling to his death and she was unable to do a thing about it.  She prayed to the Lupa, to the forest gods and even to the big guy the humans all talked about—anyone who could keep her mate safe.
She watched as Nick wiggled and attempted to move out of the jagged peaks path, all to no avail.  He would be impaled and she would have to go on without him.  It was an impossible task except for their young.  She would remain here for them.
Even as flashes of a lonely future raced through her head, Ziva rolled to her stomach tried to rise—to get to her mate—to change fate, an inch at a time.  A powerful gust of air pushed her back and forced her head down, but she persisted.  She tipped her chin to the side and caught the sweetest sight she’d seen since the birth of her twins—a monstrously-sized dragon, taking her mate into its mighty grip, seconds before he’d reach the tip of the rock.
Nick was safe was her last thought as she slipped into the darkness.
Boom ~ Sizzle ~ Bang
“Are you still not speaking to me, Fair one?”
Greely scrunched her face and tucked herself lower in the claws that kept her safe on the long journey home from England.  She was pissed at her dragon lover and didn’t even feel like smiling as he spoke to her from his scaly snout.
“You know I had no choice…”
“Huh, right, no choice my ass.”
“You don’t cross Karma, my love.”
“You do, when Karma has her head shoved so far up her butt that she’s lost all sense.”  Why was she even talking him?  He could be such a…such a…slimy, royal, reptile!  “That’s it, a slimy, royal, reptile!”
“What’s that, Fair one?”
“You!” she screamed into the night air around her, knowing full well his ears would hear her.  “You are a slimy, royal, reptile!  No!  Better yet, you are a Slimy, Highfaluting, Insensitive, Tool!  Yep, I like that one better, a, S.H.I.T.”
The flapping of wide wings was Erol’s only response.
As the hours and miles passed on their flight towards Talbot’s Peak, Greely grew more fearful amid the straining silence.  Had she made a mistake?  Was she being honest with those around her about her fears?  Was she being honest with herself?
“Why do I dislike him so much, Erol?”  She whispered, wondering if he could still hear her or if he was even still listening.
“Only you can answer that question, Fair one.  I would say though that my cousin would never allow anyone under his protection to come to harm.  He is younger in years than I, but fully lives up to his name.  Justice Firewing and Karma Thys have made a connection and must see it through to the end.”
“…but their connection is so volatile.  What if the connection ignites and all that’s left is a pile of ash?”
“Your question is a good one, but one that could never come to fruition.  Justice would turn himself to ash before he allowed harm to come to Karma.”
“She can be a handful, Erol,” she said into the wind.
“This I know, Greely, and yet I have managed to contain myself.  Justice has more gentle feelings toward your camel, therefore, she is safe.  What really scares you, my love?”
Greely listened to her dragon’s words and fear expanded inside of her.  She nudged it with her finger, then with her toe.  She knew what the bubble held inside, but could she say it out loud?
The nights sky was suddenly ablaze and the crash, sizzle, and bang of fireworks.  Below her was home, Talbot’s Peak in all its glory, setting off a celebration of the nation’s independence.  “Oh Erol, you brought us home for this?”
“I did, Fair one.  It is the anniversary of our first display.  I promised to always show you the stars from far above.”
Tears of happiness slipped from her eyes and she kissed the claw closest to her.  “I love you, dragon.”
“As I love you.”
As they continued to watch the fireworks Greely opened a bit of her fear bubble, enough to acknowledge the worry sitting greatest on her soul.
What if she were to lose the sister of her heart?  Be it by death or by distance she worried she would not survive the loss.  Of course, she also had her sturdy love to keep her close.  With him she would endure, she’d thrive and continue to love.  If his cousin was of the same strength, then she owed it to Karma to support her new found connection and help her reach for her very own stars.
Have a wonderful 4th, everyone!  Be safe and enjoy the fireworks.
Shackles & Chains
“Not until I met you…” Greely revisited Erol’s words from the previous day as she stared out the window of her opulent suite. Those five words played like an earworm on steroids through her skull. It was, by far, the most romantic thing he’d ever said to her and also the most frightening.
He’d never planned on staying in Talbot’s Peak, her home and safe haven.  He’d planned on swooping in and checking the place out, see if he could replicate the town’s success in sheltering shapeshifters and creating a sanctuary.  He’d planned on copying that style here in England.
“Okay, Gree, this has gone on long enough girl,” Karma, her best friend and staunchest supporter, huffed as she swept into the room. “You are in a mansion on the shores of the English Channel and you are burying yourself in your room like you’re in a bad prison movie.  Shake a leg and let’s check this place out.  There’s an entire wing dedicated to your Duke’s family…including paintings of their dragon forms.  How cool is that!”
“Karma, please don’t say that.”
“What? Shake a leg or Cool?”
“No, my Duke,” she whispered, wishing instead she had the nerve to scream.
“Ha!  Not saying it isn’t going to make it go away, hon.  You hooked yourself royalty.”  Karma nudged her with an elbow and winked.  “I’m so proud.”
Oh Gawd, that was the scariest thought of all! Someday, she might become a duchess. Lady of a manor with servants, ballrooms, libraries and dungeons if she remembered her history correctly…or was that from her love of historical romances? She was in her lover’s mansion, a freaking mansion, looking out over the biggest body of water she’d seen in some time and all she could think was that this was not home.
Talbot’s Peak had a wonderful underground beach and secret link to the Pacific Ocean, but this was much different.  This had majestic rocks rising up from the water and an actual sunset.  It was cool here, but not as cold as the Peak was starting to get with winter coming.  The openness of the land around her was surprising, but it lacked the same forest feel she’d grown used too.
It was beautiful here, but so very different from the home she knew.  The home she suspected she would eventually be forced to leave.
 ~~~

So Greely seems a bit maudlin today, but I guess the thought of leaving our fair Peak could do that to a girl.

Keep warm out there!

You're What?

Greely shook.  From the inside to the outside and back again the deep, pre-shift shudders took control.  She had little time to say what was on her mind before she found herself only millimeters off the ground.

“Gree, honey, are you okay?” Karma attempted to move closer, but Greely couldn’t stand the thought of another being close right now.

“Fair One, please…” Erol, or Lord whoever, reached out only to lower his hand.  Clearly she was broadcasting a do not touch vibe.

“You’re a what?”  Greely looked around, trying to assess where the high-pitched squeal had come from.  Sadly, she was the only one talking so it must be from her.

“I’m a Duke, or more formally, I am the Duke of Wyvern.”

“Wow, way to keep it discreet there, Slimey.”

“Not now, humpback,” Erol barked.

“Stop it, both of you!”  Greely couldn’t think with her friend and lover, The ‘Oh Gawd’ Duke, sniping at each other. “How is this possible, Erol?  And why were you living in Talbot’s Peak?”

“The how, Greely, is actually simple.  My Grand-mum was held captive in this castle for hundreds of years.  The original Duke, loved the idea of being called a Wyvern…thus the Duke of Wyvern.  It wasn’t until after several generations of captivity that a Duke of Wyvern actually fell in love with the dragon in the dungeon.  He freed my Grand-mum, but she was too weak to leave and exhausted from maintaining her dragon form for so long.  She shifted back to her human form and Grandda nursed her back to health.  They eventually married and had my father.  I became Duke a few hundred years ago upon my father’s death.”

“I’m sorry about your father’s death, Erol, but why were you living in Talbot’s Peak if you’re… Royalty?”

“You don’t have to whisper that word, my love.  These days the title is really just that, a title.  I’ll never be the King of England, I’m moreover a man who owns this isle free and clear.  It’s a sanctuary for animals and dragons who need to rest and be safe.  As to why I was in Talbot’s Peak, well, there were rumors of a town in Montana that was a home to shifters of all types.  I had to see how it worked.  I’m not adverse to other shifters staying on my isle for a short time if they need too, but I wasn’t sure how everyone could stay safe.  Now I know the safety is owed entirely to Dante, Nick and the other Alphas in town.  They keep the peace.”

“So you never intended to stay?”

“Not until I met you…”

Did I Hear You Correctly?

~So I had a different blog in mind for today that went well with the picture above, but Erol has seen fit to throw that one in the trash.  Such a sweet guy, though I will say he stays true to his dragony self.  Anyway, the pic is far to sexy to get rid of, so Erol will have to just suck it...I'm not changing it!  hehe~

Erol set himself down in the court yard of his home in England.  His passengers had fallen asleep several hours back after oohing and aahing every few seconds at how awesome the sea looked from that height.  He loved that he could give his Fair one such a thrill.

“Are we there yet?” Greely asked between yawns and stretches.

“We are, my love,” he said, flicking the tip of his dragon tongue over her plump, warm cheek.
“Though your friend seems uninterested in the fact.” He moved his head to the left of Greely and sent a steamy snort over the sleeping rider.

“Son-of-a…hey, are we here?”

“Yep, but it’s dark and kinda hard to see past the hotel there.”  Greeley pointed towards him home.
“Omygod, Erol, hide or fly away or something, someone might see you…you know as a dragon.”

“It’s okay, love, climb down from there.”  He dropped a wing and placed his head where she could hold on as she disembarked.

“How can it be okay, Erol, I don’t want to see you chased by the pitchfork crowd if you get what I’m saying.”

“Ah, Gree…”

“Not now, Karma, help me convince Erol to escape…oh why did we have to fall asleep…you should have woken us up earlier you big softy…I…”

“Gree!”

“What Karma?  What!”

“This isn’t a hotel, hon.  This is a freaking castle.”

“What?!” Greely’s squeak made his heart lighter.

“That’s a castle! Erol, you’ve been holding out on us.  You own a castle, in freaking England!
Sweet.”

“What?!”  His loves squeak got louder and higher. “A castle, really?  Why didn’t you say something?”

“I wanted it to be a surprise,” he hedged, before shifting into a fully clothed man.

“Hey,” Karma spoke. “I thought the only folks in England to have castles were roy…”

“My Lord, you’ve returned.”

Erol knew the sound of his butler’s voice behind him and inwardly cringed.  He’d missed his chance to enlighten Greely gently.

“OMYGOD you’re a…”

“Duke.”  He finished Karma’s sentence, never once taking his eyes off Greely."
~~~
Okay, do my characters care that they are going to kill me?  Does Erol understand that now I need to add more research to my very limited time?  Clearly, no.  Because he waited until now to let me know that he was, gah...A DUKE!  Have Mercy on me, Erol.  Though, I bet you make a right fine member of the ton!  ~sigh~
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!  And stay warm.  :)
Leaping Lizards...It's Not Turkey?
It's okay, Erol. Don't panic!
Erol rolled, as any human would, across the casino’s back alley.  He remembered at the last minute that a typical human would not land on his feet, especially after having eaten as much as he had.
“And stay out!” Yelled one of the three steroid stinking bouncers.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah.” He yawned, not overly worried about getting the boot from this casino.  More so, he wanted to make sure they did not touch his fiery mate.  Leaping lizards she was a site to behold spouting her righteous anger like flames surrounding her.
“How dare they do this!  How dare, they throw my man out the back door of their rotten casino!  See if I spend any more of my hard earned money in their disgusting, bedbug ridden pit!”
Erol smirked at her outrage on his behalf.  How could he not love this little sprite of a woman?
“Really, Karma, are you going to stop laughing anytime soon?”
“C-c-can’t!”
“This is really too much.  You know, Mrs. Elly wouldn’t throw Erol out for eating too much, she’d just make him more flapjacks.”
“The best flapjacks, Fair one, but she certainly has nothing to worry about on the bacon front…turkey bacon.  There should be a law against that.” Erol said, shaking his head. “You know, it tastes…skunky.”
“No-no, wait Greely, pl-please let me find my camera before you tell him!”
Erol got a bad feeling, deep in his pleasantly filled gut as he watched a laughing Karma frantically search her bags.  “Tell me what, Fair one?”
“Please Gree, don’t be mean, just let me get a shot of that face when he finds out…ooh, here’s my camera.”
“Stop it, Karma.” Greely waved away her friend and turned back his way.  “Now Erol, you know Elly is a herbie, and they don’t eat meat.”
“So, what, the bacon is tofurky or something?”
“Try dropping the –rky.”
Oh fire and damnation!  A flash went off in his face as the realization hit. “Tofu!  She’d been poisoning me with gelatinous, skunky tasting weeds?”
“Got it!” Karma rejoiced with a fist pump and what he always called a happy dance.  The combo didn’t piss him off half as much as the idea of what Elly had been feeding him did.
“Not weeds, soy and soymilk.” Greely soothed, her small hand on his chest.
“WEEDS!”
“It’s good for you.”
“I’d rather eat skunk.  Or, camel hump!”
“Hey, watch it, slimy.  I’ve heard dragon balls are supposed to be a delicacy.  I haven’t ever tried them, but keep it up and I might.”
“Both of you stop it.  Now is not the time.  We’ve been kicked out of our rooms and by now, probably black-balled around town.”
"Oooh, oooh...there's a wise crack on the tip of my tongue, Gree."
"Not a word, Karma. We have issues to resolve, not ass to crack. Yes, the pun was intended, just for you, my dear."
"You're killing me, Gree, killing me!"
"I know.  Now, suggestions anyone?"
“Well if someone hadn’t ingested three-fourths of the all you can eat buffet, we’d be gambling right about now.”
“Watch it, Karma.”
“Ooh, why’s that, Erol?”
“Because I’ve still got room for Camel hump.”
“Forget it, you two," Greely said, grabbing several pieces of luggage. "Let’s just head out for London.  But first, I want to fly over the Hoover Dam.”
“It’s too early for that, Fair one.”
“Fine, let’s go take the tour, then on to London.”
“Sounds good…can we check out the buffet at that, New York hotel?”
Both ladies looked at him like he was crazy.  “What?”
“More food, Erol?”  Greely asked.
“What can I say…I’m still hungry.”
“Props, Erol.” Karma praised. “You know, you’ve got some big ba…”
“Stomachs!” Greely interrupted.  “Big stomachs.”
~~~
I have to say, I love shocking Erol.  He's just uptight enough to make it fun...and how he missed the fact that Mrs. Elly is a herbie, I'll never know.  Could be he just didn't want to believe he was eating poisonous weeds, er, tofu.  I'm surprised though that he didn't blow and torch part of the strip.  Could be Greely's been a good influence on him. :)

Have a great weekend!

Dragon Buffet...

Greely sipped at the cup of hot cocoa and nibbled on the toast Erol had placed in front of her before he’d returned to the buffet for more food.  He’d already been gone ten minutes and she couldn’t help the niggling worry, whispering to her that she should have gone with him to keep him out of trouble.  This was a Vegas casino buffet and should have enough food to feed several hungry men, but would they have enough to satisfy one ravenous dragon?

Ravenous was a good word for her man. After getting a look at her new ink the night before, Erol had all but picked her up and carried her back to their room.  He’d closed them in and taken her over.  She’d been consumed by his lust, his love and his heat.  She’d found jackpot after jackpot in this city of sin and none of them had anything to do with money.

“Now there’s a story behind that blush, for sure.  Spill it, sister.”
Greely smiled as Karma threw her camo and combat boot shod body into the chair across the table and laid the do tell eye on her.  “I don’t know what you’re talking about, my dear.”

“Oh the hell you don’t.  You ditched me on the strip with some promise of meeting me in two hours’ time, but never showed up at the predetermined time…”

“Oh Karma I’m so sorr…”

“Don’t interrupt… Thank Goddess! This town is about sin, baby and that man, er, food disposal…how much is he going to eat?”

Greely turned to watch Erol stride purposefully their way.  In his arms was a tray stacked with three plates, heaping with food.

“Anyway, that scaly relic is made for sin.  Now, be a good girl and don’t Bogart all the dirty deets.”

Greely laughed at Karma’s wiggly eyebrow, knowing she’d not be telling her any of the private details.  “Sorry, my dear, some things aren’t meant to share.”

“Share what?” Erol barked as he set the mountains of food on the table.

“The nitty gritty, scaly.   From last night, you know, sinful decadence that I can learn from in case I should find my very own dragon slinking around sin city.”

“You won’t.” Erol said in his no nonsense way. “I’m the only dragon in town right now.”

“You know this how?” Karma chuffed.

“I can sense when other dragons are close by.”

“No way.”

“Yep, and I also double as a one-armed bandit, the good kind that is, I just keep giving and giving and giving.  Right, Fair one?”

Greely nearly slid out of her chair as Erol’s gaze swung her way, hot and dirty, like it was last night as he took her to the moon and back, repeatedly. “Ah…Jackpot.”

“YES!” Erol jumped from his seat and barreled back to the buffet.  The words “more bacon” echoed in his wake.

Karma and Greely looked at each other and laughed in a way one only did in Vegas as they nibbled at the sweets still remaining on Erol’s plates.

It seems Sin City is starting to agree with Erol or it's that he's satisfying all of his appetites in a city that never sleeps.

Happy Weekend!

Lady Luck Lives...

Karma stood at the predetermined spot on the casino floor, waiting for Greely and Erol, but knowing they’d not show up.  After Erol’s reaction to Gree’s new body art she figured to duo was currently secluding themselves in their room and indulging in the idea of Viva’ Las Vegas!  She was thrilled to see her friend emerging from the idea of doomed love especially as that new love was Erol.  Nah, she didn’t hate the big lug, she actually thought he was great for Greely.  He loved her to madness and kept her safe and happy.  Who could ask for more for her friend?

That wouldn’t keep Karma from teasing him and riling him up however, nope, if Erol was ever going to ease himself, at least a little bit, into current times then he needed to loosen up.  Her kidding him could only help on that front…plus, he was just so much fun to tease.

“Whoo hoo!” a gambling patron screamed at the end of the row Karma traversed.  The excitement made her smile, as did the underlying knowledge that the happily jackpotting woman truly deserved the win she’d gotten.  The winners plans to give half the money to the children’s hospital that had saved her child’s life all those years ago after her terrifying birth, then using the rest to get said child ready to go to school, were laid out completely in Karma’s mind. It was a nice reminder that large groups of mortals like this made shielding nearly impossible.

A man in the next aisle over was projecting so loudly Karma knew she was needed.  This gambler was frantic for the next win.  Huge amounts of money were gambled away with each spin, the money coming directly from the food budget.  His children were hungry, his wife exhausted from trying to keep things together and her children safe, was on the verge of leaving for good if this man didn’t get some help.  Yet, he continued to drop bill after bill into the machine.  Deep down, she could feel his desire to change, but she could also see the chains that kept him tied to the one-armed bandit.
Karma slid into the seat next to him and dropped a few coins in the machine.

“Come on, you damn thief, all it will take is a few big hits and I’ll be flush.” The man yanked on the bandits arm and watched the wheels drop, yet again, in a losing pattern. “Fuck!”

“The machines are pretty cold here tonight,” she said to the gambler. “A smart player would go home to the wife and kids and not give the house any more money.”

“What?” The man looked over at her, but saw only what he expected, another guy losing money. “Mind your own machine, man.  I’m busy here.”

Karma nodded and realized it would take more than words with this one.  He needed to be shocked into the change he was ready for deep down and she was ready to oblige him.

“Come on, come on.” Gambling man spun and lost again, his anxiety rising and money dwindling with each loss until he sucked in a squeaky breath, grabbed his left arm and fell to the floor.

“Ohmygoddess, someone call 911,” Karma called out as others crowded around the man to make sure he continued breathing.  He would be fine as she’d merely laid a severe anxiety attack on the man and not a real heart attack, but they felt the same.  The nearly dying fear was a good one to shock a person back to the side of good and by the pictures of this guy’s future now scrolling through her head, it was enough to get him away from the casino and into a Gamblers Anonymous meeting.  His family would be okay and he had another shot to make things right.

She wandered and played for a few more hours, blessing the worthy with small wins and happy memories of their time in Sin City before calling it a night and heading to her room.  She’d been called many names in her life, but Karma was the one that fit best.  Tonight, however, she’d also played her part as Lady Luck.  Her exhaustion reminded her of why she’d moved to Talbot’s Peak.
While mortals were always wide open to her, shapeshifters were totally closed.  She couldn’t read her own kind and it gave her a real peace.  The town offered a normalcy she couldn’t find elsewhere.  She loved her home and couldn’t imagine leaving it permanently.  A trip every so often with her best friend was cool, but it would be wonderful to finally go home.
~~~
So I got to wondering how Karma was enjoying Sin City and that's the story she relayed to me.  And in case you're wondering how she does at the casino...well, she always breaks even. ;)
Have a great weekend!
Greely's Ink
Sorry about that folks, I'm running behind today, which is not all that unusual.  What do you think of Greely's tattoo?  Gorgeous isn't it.  I found it over on Photobucket posted by ladynokitsune.
Check out below to see how it all went and if Erol was able to maintain his composure.
~~~

“Hello foxy ladies, you are burning down my house…yes you are.  What can Big Ed do for you today?”

Greely smiled politely even though she wanted to bend in half and laugh like a crazy loon.  Big Ed was neither big, nor Ed like.  No he was more of an Eddie…Eddie Munster that is.  “Hi Ed, my name is Greely and I’m looking to have some work done.”

“Well, hot mama, are we stamping it or clamping it today?”

A crackling gurgle sounded from beside her and the scent of used matches filled the air.  Greely turned her head in time to see Karma step in front of a nearly alarmingly angry Erol to cover the sudden glow of his human nostrils from the tattoo artist.

This was not going to go well.

“Actually, I’d like both.”  Greely answered, while keeping half her attention on the ornery dragon to her right.

“Right on, Sizzle. Why don’t you bring your sultry self on over here and we’ll get started.”

“Sizzle, SIZZLE!” Erol lifted Karma and they moved as one towards Big Ed. “I’ll show that puny human how to sizzle!”

“One moment, Mr. ah, Big Ed.”

Greely turned and grabbed Erol’s arm and tugged for all she was worth and still he moved forward.
Only now, he was dragging her along for the ride.

“Good luck, sister, Slimy here is pissed and nothing is going to stop him from eating Big “living dead” Ed over there.” Karma chuckled while flicking her finger over and over on Erol’s forehead.

“Erol, STOP.” Greely ordered, her voice firm and not at all shy.  Much to her amazement, Erol stopped and looked over at her, concern and frustration warring in his gaze. “You need to wait for me
outside, love.”

“NO!”

“Yes.  We haven’t even started yet and look at yourself, imposing and threatening—sexy as hell, but still.  We don’t want to scare the artist while he’s putting the ink on my skin or creating holes in my tummy.”

“Eeech, ouch!” Karma barked as nasal sparks hit her arms. “Watch the words there, Gree, or he’ll scorch me.”

“My apologies, humpback.” Erol said before dropping Karma to the floor and looking at Greely. “I will be good.” He spat, the last word with so much disgust she could barely contain her smile.

“I’m sure you will try, but I’ve decided to do this on my own.  You will escort Karma outside and either gamble or take in the fountain.  I’ll be out in a bit.”  Greely dug her drawing out of her pocket and moved back to Ed.  “Now, where were we?”

“Stamping it first, Pretty Lady.  Would you like to ride my hog for this or climb up on the table?”

Karma’s squeak and Erol’s growl made her smile as she chose the gorgeous bike.  “Out Erol.  Now!”

##

One hour later…

Greely found her traveling companions at the fountain surrounded by cops and wondered if her time in Sin City was about to be cut short.  “What happened, Karma?”

“Hey Gree, well, Erol needed to cool off, if you know what I mean,” her friend whispered, for her ears only.  “Poor Erol tripped and fell in,” she said louder for the uniformed group around them.

“Did he now?” Greeley smirked, then played along. “Oh Erol, baby, are you okay?”  She rushed to his side, hugging and touching him as a concerned girlfriend would.

“I’m fine.”

“Good, oh thank goodness.  Can we go, officers?  I’d like to get my man back to the hotel and into some dry clothes.”

“Yeah, go ahead, but stay away from the fountains from now on, okay.”

“Fine.”

“Thank you, thank you.”  Greely tugged Erol away from the crowd and back towards the hotel.  Half way there, Erol ground to a halt and started pulling at her shirt.

“What are you doing, Erol, stop.”  She patted at his roving hands only to remember that resisting was ridiculous when it came to her dragon.

“Show me what you did to yourself.”

“Fine, here.” She opened the front of her coat to show him the cute silver ring at her belly, loving how it twinkled with the lights on the strip.  Erol fingered the little piece of jewelry, lust in his eyes and a grumble in his throat.

“I like that, a lot.”

“Good, now let’s go.”

“No, show me the other.”

Greely turned, dropped the jacket in back and let him see the tattoo she’d drawn herself and big Ed had located on her upper back.

“Oh Greely,” Karma gasped.

“That’s me,” Erol said, so quietly she wondered if he hated it, but his gentle touch told her more.

“And me…if I too, had a dragon form,” she whispered over her shoulder.

“I love it, Fair One.”

“Oh good, then you won’t mind it being bigger, say covering my whole back?”

Erol reeled her in and kissed her hard.  There was no part of her lips left un-nibbled, his tongue pushed passed them and mapped out her mouth with precision and depth, giving her the next best thing to sex here on the Las Vegas strip.

“We’ll talk about it,” Erol muttered. ”…later.”

Cheezeballs Unite!

Ziva held her burgeoning belly as she laughed at Loki & Thor’s “newscast” of the Mammoth invasion.  Those boys were naturals and would, one day, make excellent on the air personalities.  She also wondered if Nick could find a place for them at the paper.  Considering their ages, it would be to do little things that line their allowance pockets and perhaps to pick up a bit of newspaper knowledge, here and there.  She couldn’t wait to broach the subject with him.

Hefting herself out of the chair she stood at the deck rails for a couple of minutes surveying what was left after the rampage.  Banta poo, for sure, and there was her man, shovel in hand, to do what needed to be done for the town he loved.

###

Back in Sin City…

“Here, this is it!” Greely stopped and looked at the name of the tattoo and piercer shop in the window.

“Clamp It & Stamp It?  Oh, Gree, you really are a cheezeball, aren’t you.”

“Pish, Karma.  You know you want to go in and get your very own work of art done.  Something tasteful, perhaps?”

“Tattoos don’t stay, you know.  Once you shift the ink is gone unless you see Rox back home.  His ink is sik and it stays no matter how much you shift.”

“Yeah, Karma, I know it will go away soon, but I’m considering it a test run to see if I really want what I have in mind.”

“No.” Erol scooped her up and made to leave, mumbling dragony swear words if she had to guess.
“There will be no inking or marring of your beautiful skin. This I cannot allow.”

“Stop.  Erol, stop it, right now and put me down.” Greely ordered, pounding at the arm secured around her waist. “I’m doing this!”

“Why, Fair One? Why do you want to deface yourself?”

“It’s art, Erol, not defacing.” Greely insisted. “And for the first time in my life, I feel safe enough and loved enough to live out some of my dreams.”

Greely’s feet hit the sidewalk and she smiled.  She could tell that he finally listened and heard what she was trying to tell him.

“I make you feel this way?”

“Yep, you allow me to fly, Erol.  In all parts of my life.  You make me happy and whole.”

“And this art will make you whole?”

“Nope, this will make me happy!”

~~~
Well, just a shorty from me today to keep track of what's happening in Sin City and up on the hill away from danger.
I know exactly what Greely's looking for in a tat, now I hope I can find a good graphic for it.  :)
Have a great weekend!
Bring on the Battle!
“Nicolas McMahon, this is not fair!” Ziva growled through the walkie talkie, stomping around the squeaky planks of wood that made up hers and Nick’s wrap around deck. “All I have is a pair of binoculars.”
“We need a scout, Z…”
“From the safety of my own home?  How am I supposed to provide scouting services from here…”
“It’s a mammoth, so you should have a pretty good view of it from there.”
“Yeah, a view.  Phfft.”  She waved her hand in a frustrated fit before pleading her case. “I should be there, Nick.  Not here, safely ensconced away from the battle.”
“Ziva, you’re…”
“You have my sister, mother and for Lupa’s sake, my flaky, lovey dovey aunt on the front lines, while the alpha, me, scouts from a distance?!”
“You have a much more important job, love,”
“Right, and what’s more important than kicking mammoth ass and protecting our town, grrr?”
“Protecting our child.”
Ziva nearly dropped the walkie in her hand at Nick’s softly spoken words.  She looked down at her baby pooched tummy and hunched her shoulders, taking on a worlds worth of guilt. She’d forgotten.  She’d forgotten she was preggers, that there was a little life growing inside her that needed protecting, not stress from some hunt and battle…
“You didn’t forget being pregnant, Ziva.”
“How did you know what I was thinking?” She asked, startled that he could know her thoughts so completely.
“I know you, sweetheart.  You would never forget.  You are, however, still an alpha and are feeling so much more like yourself this trimester that it would be impossible for you not to want to take part in the action.”
“Really?”
“Yes, really.  Now take heart, because Dante let me know that Ewan and his team have this under control and we probably won’t even be needed in the long run.  We’re back-up or the cheerleading squad, whichever is needed most.”
Ziva sat in her favorite chaise lounge, the spunk suddenly gone from her, in the aftermath of Nick’s words. She felt a huge cry coming on, thanks to her surge of hormones, but didn’t want to worry her mate anymore, so she did what she usually did and teased him.  “Hmmm, Nick as a cheerleader, you know, I could make that work.”
“Don’t even think about it, Ziva.”
“Oh, I’m thinking…,”
~~~

Meanwhile in Vegas…

“NO!” Erol stormed.

“Yes.” Karma insisted.

“What’s wrong with it?” Greely questioned?

“You have too much skin showing, Fair One.  Go change.”

“She looks gorgeous, Slimy.  Back off.”

“All my bits and pieces are covered, Erol.  I’m only showing my tummy.”

“Yeah, it’ll make it easier when she gets the belly ring.” Karma snickered.

“No way in hell, humpback! No one will touch my woman.”

“Enough!” Greely barked, grabbing her purse and wrap.  “Let’s go, first stop, the piercer.” The look she threw Erol was enough to shrivel even a mammoths balls.

~~~
Odd picture, I know.  It doesn't quite fit the first part of the blog, but Greely wanted to show off the belly ring she's thinking about getting.  :)
Have a great weekend everyone!
Do A Little Dance...
Typically, I don't search out gif's that move, but this one fits Greely to a tee.  Darling Diva loved this movie, Monsters Inc., with the repetitive nature known mostly by the under six crowed and giggled her head off when the little girl did her dance.  Heck, so did Alpha Hubby and I.
Enjoy!
~~~

“Ohmygod, civilization…lights, heat and indoor freaking plumbing!  Put me down, Erol.  Please.”

Erol bent over and set his treasure on her feet and grimaced.  Not because her insubstantial weight caused him any pain, but rather her obvious glee at being surrounded by the loud garishness of this sin city.

“Oh oh, shoot, pick me up Erol, pick me up.”

The urgency in his Fair One’s voice put him on instant alert as he swept her up in his protective embrace and spun around looking for the source of her fear.

“Gree,” the camel gasped as she grabbed his arm to hold him still. “Honey, what’s wrong?”

“I-I can’t walk.”

Her whisper made him want to shift and fly her away from everything she feared or could cause her harm.  It was only the knowledge that shifting in such a public place would cause them all more trouble than necessary that made him wait for an explanation from his lady love.  “What do you fear, Fair One?”

“I have to pe…”

The mumbled words were spoken into his throat and sounded more like mar har ooo prea.  He still had no idea what was causing her panic and to add another layer to this frustrating game, her humpback friend was laughing her fool head off, seconds from rolling around on the ground.  “What is so funny, camel?!”

“Oh, oh Gree, we did make that cactus stop you know.  You could have taken care of things then…”

“That was outside, Karma, I don’t do that outside!”

“Even in your froggy form?” The camel covered her mouth with her hand and giggled again.  Her mirth obvious in the tears tracking her cheeks.

“That is different!”

“How?  I mean, it all comes out about the same way, Gree.”

“Animals just do that outside and I’m closer to the ground.  Plus, I don’t need TP,” she whispered, behind her hand, “in that form.”

Erol grinned.  He was starting to get a picture of his loves problem.  It was the same issue she’d faced when they traveled to his grotto in Talbot’s Peaks hidden ocean.  She had yet to become comfortable easing her bladder in the water or anywhere without a water closet, or bathroom, he remembered them saying in this century. “Lead the way to the abode you wish us to stay in, Humpback.  Quickly.”

“Okay then.  Cross those legs, Princess can’t pee outside, ‘cause here we go.”

Erol followed the camel even as he whispered into Greely’s ear.  “Never fear, my love, your shy bladder is something we can overcome.  It just takes practice.”

“Ohgawd.”

Once again she tucked her face into his neck and spoke, but he got the gist of it this time and couldn’t resist teasing her just a bit more.  “Lots and lots of practice.”
~~~
Huh, so today's blog is brought to you by the letter P and jumped from my brain to the page just this morning in the span of about an hour.  I'd been trying to decide what to write all week and nothing quite fit into this trio's trip until Greely was jumping up and down inside my head, happy to have finally reached the city proper.  I guess that jumping up and down is better know as doing the peepee dance.  LOL  What my characters don't give me to work with some days...
Have a great weekend!
Queen of the World, or Not...
So Erol was none to happy with the picture I used today, but really who could resist the cute little dragon snort above.  My brain is a little singed from all his tantruming.  Who knew dragons could be such drama queens!  hehe
Enjoy!
###
“I did warn you.”
“Really?  Ugh, blaah.  Eeee!” Karma slid from Erol’s lumpy back, choking and spitting before ending up flat on her ass.  “Ow!”  She climbed to her feet, rubbing her sore tush and watched the dragon create an easy slide down his wing for her friend. “You couldn’t have warned me about the bug fest a little sooner?  They’re in my mouth, Gree!  Yuck!”
“Well who knew you’d pull your Titanic impression and go all queen of the world?”
“I was flying, girlfriend, it’s expected.”
“So are the bugs.”
“Touché.”  Karma dusted herself off and spit, once again digging deep into her throat and sinuses for a really good wad.  Yeah, she could be as girly as the rest of them, but she had bugs in her mouth.  Bugs!  She shuddered, even as a camel she’d never cared for bugs. Unladylike behavior really was the least of her problems.  “Pharaohs balls, I could use a drink.”
“What?!”
Greely’s squeak stopped her from letting loose with another mouthful and whipped her around.
“What’s wrong?”
The giant dragon dropped his head to bring his large nostrils up close to her face.  “Your Egyptian is showing, Hump Back.”  His humph and snort blew her hair back and smelled like burning everything.
“I am a camel and these bugs are worse than a mouthful of hot sand.”
“But Karma, Pharaohs ba, ah well, you know,” Greely stuttered and blushed, not even saying the word Karma loved to torture her with.
“Balls, Gree.  Or would gonads, testies or nuts be better?  Speaking of, you gonna show us a bit of the dangly bits when you shift, Slimey?”
“Karma Thys!” Greely gasped, making Karma smile.  She placed her hands on her hips and stepped in front of the massive dragon as if to block him from view.  “No, you’ll not see anything as Erol is magick, but you would do well to turn around and give him some privacy.”
“Okay, okay…”  Karma rose her arms in a submissive gesture and turned away from her friend and that pesky dragon.  A grin split her face seeing Greely’s protectiveness and love of Erol.  It was as if she’d finally let go of that ridiculous doomed love business and let hope seep into her heart.
Love should always win.  A heart so full leaves no room for hate.  She’d heard that somewhere, but actually seeing the sentiment allowed her to understand it on a deeper level.  Now if she could get Slimey there to have some fun she’d consider this job complete.
“So, how far do you figure we are from Sin City?”  It was time to get this party on the road.
“I estimated only about a mile.”  The dragon voice was now back to human as Erol stepped up beside her, Greely’s luggage slung over one shoulder and her friend snuggled up in his arms.
“Oh boy, seriously, you’re being carried the last mile in his human arms as well?”  Karma griped even though she was secretly happy for her friend.  “What about me and my bag?”
“I saw you pack that thing, hon, you’d need a mammoth to carry both it and your gorgeous, long body.”
“Well, of course I would.”  She preened before grabbing the bag and wheeling it along behind her. “To bad I can’t find one back in Talbot’s Peak.”
“Bite your tongue, Karma.  Can you imagine the size of its excrement?”
“Pish on that, I’d be more worried about the size of its dangly…”
“Ladies,” Erol chuffed, clearly, not to thrilled by the turn in the conversation. “Let’s move.”
Karma and Greely looked at one another and laughed as they watched wisps of smoke curl out of Erol’s human nostrils.  “Lighten up, E, this is Vegas baby and the dirty talk has just begun!”
Have a wonderful weekend, y'all!
Dragon Air...Come Fly the Ferocious Skies.
“No, Fair One, this will not do.”
“Yeah, Gree, though I loath to, I’ve got to agree with the horned slime one here…this is a bad idea.”
Greely looked at her traveling companions and once more wished she could produce smoke from her nostrils and breathe a bit of fire over their asses.  “And how exactly would you both explain a dragon,” she whispered behind her hand, “landing right on the strip?”
“So we land further out of town and call a taxi to come pick us all up, Gree.”
“Yes, hump back, that would be acceptable.”
“Hump what!?  You did not just call me that, Slimy.  No you did not!”
“Oh for the love of… Erol, Karma, shut-up!  We are going to have fun on this trip, not call each other names and snark.  Now, both of you march your asses into that airport and suck. It. Up!”
Greely grabbed her suitcase, pulled out the handle and wheeled it towards the entrance.  She’d had enough of the two of them and their bickering and this trip had just started.  All they’d done so far was make it to Billings and were going to catch a flight to Vegas.  If, of course, she could get her dragon lover on to the plane.
“Oh shit.”  Greely stopped, a cold sweat flashing over her skin.
“Now she’s thinking this through.” Her best friend chuffed, before sitting down on her suitcase.
What had she been thinking?  A dragon on a plane?
“What fools presume to carry me to this place of sin in a long metal tube?  What could they know of lift and drag?  How will they skirt the turbulent skies with immovable wings?  I shall discuss their so called qualifications with these so called Air Jockey’s.”
OMG, he would to…try to confront the pilot’s that is.  Then they would find themselves confronting air marshals, the FAA and the whole of the US government.  They’d be put on do not fly lists and would be considered terrorists.  She didn’t want to be at odds with the government.  Sure she didn’t always agree with them, but this country was her home and she loved Talbot’s Peak and never wanted to be forced away.
“Hump Back, where do these monkeys sit to fly their plane?”
“Damn Slimy, that nickname is getting old.  They sit in the cockpit ~don’t you just love that word~ in front of the plane. There’s a little door separating them from us, but it’s always locked.”
“I am Dragon!  Locks mean nothing.”
Oh God.  “Okay wait…” Greely turned back to look at her love and her smirking friend. “Perhaps you both are correct and it would be best to fly dragon air into Vegas.”
“Now you’re talking, Gree.”  Karma rose from her suitcase and adjusted her clothes.  “Let’s get this party started, shall we?”
“Dragon Air, Fair One?”  The look he gave her would have drenched her panties if she’d been wearing any.
“Let’s just go, okay?”
Erol nodded to her and took up the lead heading out of the airport.  Greely walked and watched as his sexy backside rolled beneath his jeans.  Damn, she couldn’t wait to get to the hotel.
“Roll your tongue back in, Gree, or you’ll catch some flies.  Unless, of course, that was your plan.”
“Shut it, Karma.  And don’t think I don’t know this con has your camel stink all over it.  Did you really want to ride a dragon this bad?”
“Hell yes!  Who doesn’t want a reptile between her legs every once and a while?”
Greely rolled her eyes and laughed.  “Put it back in your pants, camel, or I’ll be forced to push you off over Reno…and don’t think I won’t do it.  That jumbo is mine.”
~~~
First stop...Vegas, baby!  I wonder what kind of trouble our trio can find in Sin City?

Have a fabulous weekend!

No Boy's Allowed

Smoke puffed from his human nostrils as Erol watched his fair love and her friend scurry around her abode packing clothes for a trip to Las Vegas of all places.  Why would his Greely choose to go somewhere dubbed “Sin City” when she could be with him?  “Why?”

“Why what, Erol?” She all but huffed at him as she gathered her toiletries.

“Why do you think to go to a place of sin with her?” Erol pointed to the woman currently picking her way through Greely’s overabundance of footwear.

“Her, has a name, Slimey.”

Erol glared at the arrant camel with the smirk on her face.  She and his Fair one had been trying to change what they call “his sexist ways” since the beginning of their time together.  He didn’t think he was a sexist.  He didn’t think women weren’t bright.  His Greely was one smart lady.  So was Karma.  He worried not that they could be talked into harm or out of their knickers, but he did fret that they could be overpowered by any number of ruffians.

If he had a hope of winning this battle he needed to guard his words.

“Why do you venture to a dangerous city with Karma rather than going to this Hardly Plotter world thing with me?”

“Hardly Plo…, Erol I think you mean Harry Potter.”

“Yes, fine, that.  Come with me.  I think they have my cousin chained to their roof and I must free him.”

Greely looked at him as though he had spent too much time underwater without replenishing his air supply before a loud gasping laugh burst from her lips.  Karma rolled on the floor, no sound escaping.

“Oh Erol, that’s not a real dragon.  It’s like a sculpture.”

“It breathes fire.”

“Animatronics… a mechanical sculpture.”

“Oh.” Why in the world would they have a reproduction of his cousin on the top of a building in a children’s fun park? “Fine.  Come with me then to verify it is a reproduction of my irresponsible cousin and then we will fly to Britain and find him so that I might scorch his arse and bring him back to Talbot’s Peak.  He clearly needs a keeper.”

“Erol, this is a girl’s weekend.  We’re going to have a spa day, drink, dance, take in a show and gamble.  No boys allowed.”

“Then it is good for us both, Fair one,” he said, crowding her closer to the wall. “That I am not a boy, but a full grown man.”

“Yes, well, yes…Erol,” she gasped into his ear as he dived into the smooth skin below her ear.  Her moans encouraged him.  He grabbed the backs of her thighs and hefted her up, wrapping her long legs around his hips as he ground himself against her softness.

“Okay, wait,” Greely’s sassy camel friend pushed her way almost between Erol and his mate, forcing him to set down his precious load.  “Break it up you two.”

She clearly did not worry for her safety.

“Erol, if we go to Vegas without you, are you going to follow us anyway?”

“Of course.  My mate must be protected.”

“Erol!” Greely squealed. “It’s a girl’s weekend.  I’ll be okay.”

“Gree, let’s face it, he’s coming whether you like it or not so let’s make the best of it. To be honest, I’ve always wanted to get my hands on a wand of my own and the sweet lovin’ of a dragony Brit.”

“What about Vegas? I thought this was a shake it don’t break it girls get-away?  Do you not want to go any longer?”

“Oh no, we’re still going there, but now it’s going to be a girls gone wild weekend…nudity optional and we’ll have our big strong protector to keep the skeezers away.  Then we’ll take the dragon express to Hardly Plotter and across the pond.”

Erol should have wondered what he’d gotten himself when Karma finished her speech, but he was still stuck on nudity optional.  “There will be NO nudity, Fair one.  Unless you are alone with me.”

“Don’t be a killjoy, slimey.”  Karma poked him in the chest before crossing her arms and tapping her finger to her chin.  “So, do you have a cute dragon saddle?  And where exactly do I put my luggage?”
~~~
So Erol, Greely and Karma kind of took over my brain this week and also my post.  Erol has been crusing the internet of late and happened upon the pictures of the new Harry Potter World in Florida.  I kind of wish Greely hadn't told him the dragon was not real...I can just see him scaling the building to "have a little talk" with his cousin.  LOL
Have a great weekend!
BLOG HOP ~ Baby, It's Cold Outside
Art for the Sake of Body Heat:  Cassandra and the Sheriff
Cassandra looked out her window, shook her head, and dropped the curtain back in place.  The Frat boys from Granite Falls College had out done themselves this time. Three phallic columns, crafted out of the prior night's ten inch snow fall, stood out in stark relief thanks to the illumination provided by the lamp posts marking the property line between her yard and the college.  Twice her elderly neighbor, Mrs. Robinson, had called asking what Cassandra intended to do about the sexual works of art prominently taking up a large portion of her side yard which shared part of the public land area of the college’s campus.
Cassandra’s phone rang again.  Sighing, ready to tell Mrs. Robinson take matters into her own hands, Cassandra grabbed the handset.  “Now look Mrs. Robinson, it’s too cold out there to do anything about those damn pricks tonight?”
“Excuse me,” a deep distinctly southern male voice asked.
Cassandra gripped the phone harder, hoping she could keep herself from blushing.  She swallowed hard, counted in every language she knew how to count to ten in, and responded.  “Sorry Sheriff Knox.  Thought it was my neighbor calling again about some kids playing in her yard.”
Marc Knox stood six-foot-five in his bare feet.  With his tight jeans, that hugged his ass like they were molded and cut exclusively for him and his Stetson pulled low on his head, the man turned many a head as he patrolled the streets of Granite Falls.  In his boots and uniform shirt with the sleeves rolled up, hot didn’t begin to touch the look.  Scalding to volcanic boiling might describe the pressure cooker heat he generated every time he got near her.  God, she’d love to run her fingers through his long black hair.  His Native American features sent her steam meter up another notch closer to cataclysmic melt down.   And the man could dance.  Lord, watching his jean covered ass swing and sway as he two-stepped around the dance floor or boogied to an eighties disco song. . .Cassandra fanned herself while eyeing the clock.  Why was Marc calling at ten o’clock at night?
Marc laughed as he heard Cassandra stumble over his next question.  He covered the phone’s mouth piece so she couldn’t hear him.  Lord, the sweet images and erotic thoughts she brought to mind.  He was sure her curves would fit snuggled up against him in complimentary ways. He bet she didn’t even know he thought about her in that way.  “Ah, darlin’ what pricks are you talking about?”
Cassandra’s cough and stutter made him want to reach through the phone and hug her tight to him.  Her pale skin and copper curls set off steam he was sure would set off a smoke detector if he wasn’t careful.  Then again setting off fire alarms and sprinklers was worth the passion and release he’d give both of them if they just had the chance to---another cold burst of wind rattle his office windows and sent another whimper and groan through the ancient heat ducts of his two story office.  The jail was empty due to renovations.  His attached living quarters relied on the same boiler the jail and county courthouse used.
Marc sat up right in his chair.  Cassandra clearing her throat ripped him out of his nude fantasy of them showering together.  He smiled at her reply to his earlier question.    “The Sigma-Xi boys decided the land between their dorm and my place needed some decorating.  Uhmm. . .you know. . .”
Marc knew how mischievous the fraternity could be.   Rumors flew about town along with stories of the wild parties and streaking events from the past.  He’d already gotten numerous calls about the possible design and description of their snow sculpting event.  There wasn’t much he could do until he saw things first hand.  Still he couldn’t resist teasing Cassandra a bit more.  “No I don’t know honey.  Tell me about it.”
Cassandra held the phone out from her looking at the equipment as if it had come to life.  The man who she’d love to see naked with an erection meant for her just asked her to tell him about the three enormous cocks on display outside her bedroom window.   Talk about innuendo.  Fanning herself vigorously, she placed the phone back to her ear.  “I think it’s better if you come see this with your own eyes.”
Marc’s short chortle caused her to flush even more.  His response caught her off guard.  “I probably will.  See I need a place to stay tonight.  Got room for me there?”
Cassandra coughed taking a good hard look in the mirror.  Her hair stood up in places from her tossing and turning.  Her shorty night gown exposed one shoulder and part of her ample breasts.  Never mind she’d forgone panties thinking a night with her sexual toys might help her sleep.  That hadn’t happened thanks to the commotion the artists created and her nosey neighbor.
“G-g-got room for you?”  There she said it.  Asked the question bugging her from the moment he’d asked it.
“Yes, you know that extra room you rent out from time to time.  Damn boiler finally quit.  I need a place to stay until it’s fixed.  So you got room for me?”  Marc’s tone deepened as he spoke.  Cassandra gulped wondering how her prayers got priority on being answered and in the way she fantasized about more than she would ever verbally admit to.
She gulped again, licked her lips and replied.  “You’re in luck.  The room is yours.”
Her psyche crowed and flashed several images before her.  Marc naked. . . laying in her bed. . . stroking his cock from the tip down to his balls and back.  His eyes upon her and an open condom packet lay next to him.   Her nipples grew taut as she let her mind run with the fantasy forming.  One of her hands reached lower toward the apex of her thighs.
Marc’s voice came through the phone low and clear.  “I’ll be there shortly sweetness.  Maybe we’ll check out those pricks together one at a time.”
Cassandra jumped as the dial tone hummed loudly in her ear.  Marc’s last statement had her fanning herself even more.  Something about sharing heat to keep warm and ward off the chill set her thermostat to boiling.
ICE CASTLES
Gypsy rolled out of her snug, warm bed, peered through the curtains to the world outside, and groaned aloud. The few flurries drifting through the air at dusk had called in all their friends and relatives. At least two more feet had fallen last night, to join the massive drifts that already coated the sidewalks, her yard, and all of Talbot’s Peak. The dragon’s roar in her dreams that had roused her from sleep to face this frigid world became the grunt and crunch of a snow plow digging out the town.
She let the curtain fall with a shake of her head. A child of the Deep South, she’d found Montana’s snows enchanting for the first week or so. Now they were simply a headache. Her red wolf hadn’t thick enough fur to keep all the chill out, and she hated when ice clumped between her toes. Yet she refused to leave. Her psychic powers told her she was needed here, in this town of shapeshifters in hiding. The positive effect she had on their lives had to be worth a little—or a lot of—cold.
She had turned from the window when an image her weary eye had passed over suddenly yipped for attention. Gypsy yanked the curtain back again. Yes. That drift beneath the fir was not a drift. As she watched it rose and shook itself, shedding cottony snow from onyx stripes, and gazed expectantly at her window.
Gypsy’s heart warmed. Sergei! Snow and sub-zero temperatures didn’t bother the enormous white tiger. He considered Montana tropical when compared to his native Siberia. He’d been trying to win her over to the idea of enjoying cold weather, so far with mixed results.
“You’ve got another plan for this morning, don’t you?” Gypsy murmured, when he neither shifted to his human form nor moved toward her kitchen door. He simply eyed the window, and her, silently entreating her to join him. She looked at the fresh snow and sighed. “Only you, my frozen love, could get me out in that.”
She slipped out of her heavy wool nightgown, shifted, and left her warm house for the chilly morning outside. The wind smacked her in the face and hooted at the insufficient protection her red wolf coat provided. Instantly Sergei bounded to her side and placed his body between her and the wind. He nuzzled her neck, and she nosed his chin in return. His whiskers tickled her muzzle. Whatever he had in mind, Gypsy knew it would be worth a little ice in her pads.
They had long ago passed the point where words were needed. He slipped into the woods and she followed. Gypsy’s house abutted thick forest, with several trails that led to little clearings where Gypsy performed her meditations in more accommodating weather. Sergei might have chosen one of these. She couldn’t tell for sure. Changed by the snowfall, the forest had her turned around. Sergei seemed to know where he was going, and she trusted him.
All at once the trees fell away, and yet another new sight greeted her. Gypsy stopped short. It had to be one of her clearings, but it had been transformed. A sparkling snow castle filled the little glade, at least seven feet tall, complete with ramparts, the suggestion of a drawbridge, and a single, slightly-lopsided Russian minaret. The hole at the drawbridge was just tall and wide enough to admit a slim red wolf and a massive tiger. Sergei stood beside the hole and motioned her inside.
Within she found more miracles. The interior had been dug out into a chamber almost tall enough for her human form to stand erect. Whoever had dug it out had cleared almost all the snow from the ground. A large box sat against one wall. With the wind cut off it was surprisingly cozy in here, warmer than she would have expected.
After granting her a few minutes to take it all in, Sergei entered, and shifted. The chamber suddenly got much smaller with his seven-foot human body in it. From the box he took a thick blanket, which he spread on the ground. A second blanket followed, along with a Thermos, two mugs, and a Tupperware container packed with snack-sized meat cubes. He sat and draped the blanket over his broad shoulders, and held a corner of it up in invitation.
Gypsy turned human and scuttled under the blanket. His bare skin warmed her like a banked fire. Touches in the right places would flare it up into a blaze, as Gypsy well knew.
Sergei poured hot tea from the Thermos into the mugs. He handed her one. “You like this?”
“I like this very much. Did you build it?”
He snorted. “I hire builders. Otter boys. All over town I see these lovely castles on lawns. I ask around. Who makes these? They send me to otters. I ask, can you make one giant size? Boy looks me in eye and names price. We reach agreement. Was worth it, da?”
“It’s lovely. And so snug. Why is that wall slanted?”
“Back of castle is slide.” He shrugged one shoulder. “They are otters.”
“We’ll have to try it out,” Gypsy said. “Later.” She set her mug aside and snuggled closer to her lover, naked and surrounded by ice but for now deliciously warm.
Shaking It...
Dom watched Jada shake her lush ass and swing that long dark hair on the dance floor.  She moved between two of her friends from the ridiculously named doomed love club – grinding against one another, lower bodies twitching in time to the techno dance music filling the air.
He moved around the trio enjoying the way his beauty was starting to take pleasure for pleasures sake and to realize ones sexuality was naturally open and accepting.  Too many people feared what they considered outside the “norm.”
Dom lived happily and enthusiastically outside that “norm.”
“Erol,” he addressed the blacksmith with the glowing orange nostrils.  “You really need to find a way to work out that frustration before you burn your nose off.”
“SHE needs to stop giving other males a…a…”
“A show?”  Dom laughed at the disgruntled dragon.  “Greely is a desirable woman, Erol, and correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t it you she was wrapped around on New Year’s?”
“Irrelevant!”  The dragon roared, steam now floating around his head.  “I am the only one she should be gyrating for.”
“Ha!  A statement like that’s going to get you in trouble.”
“So says Karma, but I do not understand why?”
“In Karma’s absence I’ll give the explanation a go.”  Dom loosened his bowtie and sat on the other side of Erol, still facing the dance floor.  “Greely’s ‘dancing’, not gyrating, for herself - not the other men in the room.  Hell, she might even be ‘dancing’ for you, but acting like a caveman will shut down any further pleasure you could have tonight.”
Erol looked at him like he had rocks for brains and pebbles were falling from his ears.  The dragon was highly amusing.
“I thought you were a, what do they call them, superior?  Not a little girl.”
“They call them Dominants, Erol, and yes, I am…” The table flew forward away from the partially shifted dragon.  “…one.”
He looked back at the beautiful trio and smirked at their antics.  They’d turned up the heat on their little dance and were now engaging in some public groping and lip play meant to entice their respective males.  He was all for their continued PDA, but the half man, half dragon next to him struggled to keep it together.  It was time to halt this little tease.
“Hang in there, my man.”
Dom rose and made his way to Jada.  He wrapped himself around her from behind, ground himself against her ass. He slid a hand around her hip, up the front before resting his palm between her breasts.  “That was beautiful, ladies, but Dante’s about to come down hard on the half dragon in the corner.”
“Erol!”
They watched as Greely ran across the floor to the object of her tease and tugged at his claws.
“Did we take it too far?”  Jada asked in a breathless whisper.
“For Erol, definitely.  For me, not so much, but I’ve decided we need to call Mistress P…soon.”
Jada’s sigh was music to his ears as he moved her back into the shadows intending on indulging her need for a public display, but one that wouldn’t get them kicked out by Dante.
“Erol, baby, come on…it’s cold outside.”
“She’s right,” he whispered into his lady’s ear.  “But you know what…”  His hand slid between her legs, cupping her just as she liked.  “It’s warm right here.”
The Snow Wolf Sculpture
Cozily cocooned in her bed, Samara glanced out her nearest window. The late morning sun beautifully sparkled the thick blanket of snow covering her large front yard. "Baby, it's cold outside," she murmured, the lyric playing in her head.
"Brrrr..." Samara shivered involuntarily, imagining the icy temps on her short-furred hide. Earlier, once the sun shone brightly over the horizon, she'd shifted and gone for a run in the Peak's park, just to keep in good shape.
Samara smirked, remembering how she'd out-raced a couple of wolf pup shifters – Thor and Loki, as they were known in town. They'd been determined to catch her. At one point, she'd pretended to be treed, mentally laughing at their high-jumping antics.
Certainly, their chases during the bone-chilling weather made exercising more fiercely enjoyable for Samara – given she was an African Wildcat shapeshifter, and much preferred the heat.
Squinting, Samara focused on the life-like snow sculpture on the neighbor's lawn. She'd become intrigued by the magnificent, over-sized wolf. He... and the sculpture was a 'he' by the realistic equipment easily observed whenever she walked by... well, the snow wolf appeared to slightly change position.
Okay, maybe it was some kind of snow blindness. Who knew? But dammit, Samara swore his paws were not in the same stance whenever she walked to Java Joe's then returned.
If she let her imagination run wild, the great white wolf looked as though he'd journeyed from the Arctic. That he was really some ancient wizard-magician on a grand mission... and that this was his way of observing his foes in Talbot's Peak.
Samara smiled at her fantastical imaginings. She should write a book with that plotline. Maybe, it would even sell.
Shaking her head at her musings, Samara scooched deeper into her nest of pillows. She continued reading the erotic romance, her gaze gluing itself to the screen of her new e-tablet.
Dontoya not only took her with his big bold cock, but handled her with care, both emotionally and physically. Her heart swelled with gratitude, and Sherilyn hoped like hell he would continue caring for her this way.
Dontoya, she sang inside her mind. God help her, but the feel of his fine, fine ass was driving her insane with lust. She undulated, matching his slow primal strikes inside her.
"Easy, darlin'," he hoarsely whispered. "Let me do the work this time."
Surprised, Sherilyn slitted her eyes. His smoke-hot gaze met hers, then devoured her face as if he'd found some sort of long-sought heaven.
With a strong thrust of his cock, he pinned her to the bed. "Give me your wrists."
Zolaron sniffed in the essence of the little wildcat shifter who endangered his ability to maintain his frozen shape. Every time she passed by, he failed to deny himself that worldly pleasure.
More to importance, Zolaron relied on his wolf nose for tracking the inter-dimensional demon loosed on Talbot's Peak... loosed by the snake-eyed, black arts' magicians he'd battled for the last half century. The slippery creature's power to phase from material to incorporeal couldn't hide its unmistakable sulphurous stench – no matter how faint.
Hence, after meetings with the alpha wolf leader, Dante, and his allies, Zolaron  agreed to remain in the Montana town. He'd joined with the newly formed Circle of Witches who had arrived at Dante's underground compound due to the Summoning.
Together, they combatted the dark supernatural forces being released against the shapeshifter-paranormal community. Zolaron had swiftly realized, the attack came by command of those he called the Serpent Rulers – currently in league with the most sinister faction of the 'military industrial complex'.
Howl-shout to the rising North wind, Zolaron quaked inside as he resisted the urge to move. Oh curses, indeed! he wanted to chase and rut with the lovely wildcat woman.
After three days of pretending to be a wolf carved out of snow, Zolaron was close as the Earth's breath to discovering the demon's escape portal. Thus, its imminent capture. And extermination.
Even now, Zolaron's ability to keep his magick strong, to remain an unmoving statue, ebbed away dangerously. The woman's delicious sexual heat as she lay in bed reading one of her romance novels, could very well prove to be his great undoing.
He'd planted images about himself inside her mind with little effort, without consequence to his mission, then observed as her imagination beautifully took flight.
Tormented by the intensity of her sex scent, Zolaron mentally whined and licked his chops. Passionately convincing the little wildcat would be a savage pleasure. No cosmic-splendid doubt.
Hearing the vibratory opening of the demon's portal, Zolaron switched his focus quicker than the next beat of his heart. Albeit, he'd significantly slowed the rate.
Glimpsing the position with his spirit eyes, Zolaron abandoned his physical form.  Like a shooting star, he traveled through the ethers, determined to trap his prey.
"What the 'f'?" Samara stared at the snow wolf, her eyes wide and threatening to pop out. She couldn't have blinked in the following moments, no matter how hard she tried.
"Odd," Samara muttered for lack of anything else to say. Her jumbled thoughts tumbled over themselves as Samara attempted to make sense out of what she'd just witnessed.
For a split second she'd seen the snow wolf glow, entirely glow – as if he'd been lit internally by a white light. There'd been a following bright flash, then a glittery trail.
Now, nothing. Yet... something was definitely different. Lifeless, the magnificent sculpture looked cold as ice and lifeless.
Samara frowned, not liking the sensation that swept through her. She wanted her snow wolf alive, even if... well, even if he wasn't. Maybe, it was because she'd imagined him as real, as the heroic wizard-magician.
Scowling, in no mood to continue reading despite how much she'd been enjoying the book, Samara collapsed against her mound of pillows. She let her mind wander.
When a scene formed before her mind's eye, Samara didn't dismiss it. Instead she concentrated on the large black hole cut out of a starry night sky.
"Wow," burst from her in a whisper. A battle raged between a horned, devil like creature that looked as if it had been made out of mud, and a tall, white-light being.
Spinning plasma flame, Samara thought, as the foes engaged in some sort of tornadic combat she couldn't fathom. Transfixed, she willed the scene to continue.
The mud-devil creature suddenly slumped forward, crisscrossed with strands of blue light.
"Imprisoned," she murmured.
Awed beyond belief, Samara straightened from the pillows as the scene faded,  vanishing completely.
'I'm alive,' she heard inside her mind. 'The wolf is alive.'
Stunned to say the least, Samara froze for several moments. Hell, she might as well have been an ice statue outside on the front lawn.
Slowly, so very slowly, she turned her gaze toward the window. Her stomach clutched becoming a hard knot. Her heart raced too fast.
The snow wolf now gazed back at her. Before his noble head had been in profile.
"Okay," Samara managed, despite her rapid shallow breaths, "I think I'm going to faint."
As the words left her lips, a state of calm descended over Samara. She picked up her e-tablet wondering at the sudden change. She felt normal yet not normal.
But whatever... she wasn't going to analyze anything now.
With a toss of her shoulder-length, tawny hair, Samara settled back against her pillow pile. Just like a magic spell, she thought. Certainly, a case of high strangeness, if nothing else.
Compelled, Samara gazed at the tablet's screen. The romance story she'd been reading had been replaced by a free read she'd recently downloaded. "Quick-Fix Wedding," Samara whispered.
****
'Quick-Fix Wedding,' Zolaron repeated to himself. He smiled, his snow wolf lips curling upward. After centuries of time, he'd finally found his mate.
